MPH / MSPH 2021: Applied, Accepted, Waitlisted, Rejected, Attending

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
waitlisted as well! not quite an L but May 15th is a long way from now and a bit of a financial dent in everyone's pocket if a deposit has to be put down at another top choice for the 4/15 deadlines

Still going to wait to hear back and let's see if something positive turns up

Hi everyone,

Longtime lurker here. Congrats to all your acceptances and brush off the Rs /WLs!
I was wondering whether anyone knows JHU and Columbia happen to give out merit aid to folks who are in the accelerated MPH programs. Anyone who applied to the 1-year MPH receive merit aid at these schools or have knowledge of anyone who did from previous years?

Thanks!

Nothing. I was wondering if they even sent out financial aid.
I was told financial aid information, for the epidemiology department at least, would have been sent out 2-3 weeks after Feb. 5. Still waiting!

anyone have any clue on the timeline for the JHU MSPH decisions? applied for 1/15 in international health (health systems) and also for health policy but it's been crickets

Sorry to ask so many questions today, but does anyone know if Columbia’s waitlist is ranked or not?

Just got an email for Emory, in for MPH in Epi!!! (I got an acceptance email about 30 minutes ago and physically checked my portal to confirm) And with that ends the decision cycle for me 🙂 Now to waiting still for financial aid 😅

OMG Congrats! Was it Global Epi or regular Epi?

Feel bad about a lot of you guys getting WL at Columbia. I still have to turn in my winter grades to them before they give me a decision. Idk what that means. Probably wont get my decision until late March, early April.

Well I gotta ask: anyone accepted to Columbia epi and don’t plan on going? 😂😂 kidding of course
I applied for columbia epi on 1/15. Still waiting. Does that mean everyone from this point forward is waitlisted lol?

Got rejected from Columbia. Expected this result since I haven't invited to the interview 🙂
Actually it was my top choice school but now I'm feeling okay since I was accepted other attractive programs 😃

Congrats to those who get acceptance!

Just received my first acceptance from Emory (MPH-Epi)! A bit disappointed I won't receive any student packs because I'm an international student but super happy since Emory is one of my top choices. Just waiting for JHU GDEC reply.

For columbia how does it work? If people start getting waitlisted does that mean everyone else gets waitlisted or rejected after or is there still a chance to get accepted?
