So DocE currently has 2 votes, right? Or is there something else going on?

Hrm. I think it's worth someone else looking in to dyachei with a different medium (role, item, whatever) if Escalla was suspicious enough to lynch.

Definitely agree. I don't want anyone taking my support of her as vouching. All I'm saying is that she's role-revealed to me, provided <some> (minor) evidence in support of her claim, and that's all I know. But we don't want to lynch her unless the evidence is very solid.

Every time I mention it, someone has to point out that it isn't always 100% completely utterly infallibly true. And I know that, I promise. But as I literally have zero other thoughts to work with right now, it's a fall back. If you have a better suggestion, I'm all ears.

It hinges on there being at least one wolf in each group (will actually be right more often than not) as well as knowing WHO is not a wolf in each group. If your conclusion is that everyone else but me in the group can be trusted then either 1) we can all be trusted, you;ll just have to believe me on this, or 2) you're being mislead by a wolf.

Considering you have... more or less... zero input on anyone that isnt provided by the person themself I'd lean towards you having no clue who is trustworthy in my group (and thats not your fault. How could anyone know that at this point in the game without even one wolf lynched?). I role revealed to someone in my group. They'll weigh in (hopefully with time to spare) about how much they'd believe my role.

In the mean time can we PLEASE lynhc the chaos role. Or apparent chaos role. Or whatever. How we are not acting on this is mind-boggling.

not today

lynch nohika

Given I think a vote for escalla at this point is stupid (She tried to give info that she can verify and people want to lynch her? Whatdafeck?) and I think FFM deserves to live a while longer because I enjoy working with him:

Gonna have to vote lynch nohika as self preservation.

If someone could PLEASE give us the chaos suspect, this would be much easier.

I can't believe I'm admitting this, but I agree with LIS and DocE about the chaos role.

it's the way the whole thing rolled out that was suspicious to me. but I'm willing to change my lynch vote if given a good target.

Really? I don't see how. It's a legitimate item that allows you to investigate role abilities of players. Someone else would have it for today since I lost it. Would you rather I laid everything on the table instead?

Given that there were people willing to speak up in support of dyachei, I backed off. But I wasn't comfortable sitting on the information I had and therefore shared it.

I can tell you all my role if it comes down to it (others know it), but I really don't see a wolf trying to pull this on D4 to get someone lynched. Just my opinion.

I'm not saying the item isn't legit and that you didn't use it on me. I'm saying the way the info was presented is why I was suspicious.

Man, I would give many pesos to be able to speak with you via PM

I'm failing to see how else I could have presented it without outing the specific role information.

maybe you should have discussed it via PM in more detail before that? Look, I'm not in your situation. I am voting for you because the way it was presented made me suspicious and I have little else to go on. It may make perfect sense from your point of view. It just feels off from mine.

So you're holding your lynch vote for me hostage?

Absolutely. From where I'm sitting it looks like Rojo is perfectly happy to let a villager get lynched to protect what is almost certainly a chaos character.

Without more explanation, you bet I'm going to leverage what I can, since I think Rojo is either screwing with us, a wolf, or making a foolish decision.

I did discuss it. I don't just come out with this stuff willy-nilly. Based on what I know, it seemed possible that you were a wolf and I would rather out that I had information making me think so and seeing what is received as a defense than to keep it quiet and possibly let a wolf live.

I don't see how that's unreasonable.

Well.

I don't take kindly to this approach to get what you want. So lynch me and lose a villager anyway.

We have our reasons, so if they're not good enough, then carry on.

I'm telling you FROM MY PERSPECTIVE it seemed fishy. Obviously I'm not sure exactly what results you received that would make you suspicious, I only know what my role entails. So yes, from my perspective it was unreasonable.

I don't blame you one bit. If I were in your shoes I'd be annoyed. But I don't follow Rojo's thinking, and I think it's nonsense that we apparently know of a chaos character and we're sitting on the info and not lynching the player.

Probably the latter, he is still malleable enough to let others influence how he deals with info. But let it be said that he has chosen the wring side of the ideological divide. Siding with devyn is siding with failure (haha. Am I campaigning for JoJo's mind? Damn straight I am!)

She might be right to sit on the info, but I severely doubt it.

Umm...from just skimming the thread (I don't really have time to read), I guess lynch escalla?

At this point, I do not think dyachei is bad.

Then try looking at it from outside your view if someone received info on your ability. Do what you want, but I really don't get why you're not trying to understand here given what I know (that being your ability).

I'm trying but it's not adding up. Hence me voting for you.

Not sure where to go with that one.... some multiple ability rolls are not chaos.... so I would wait for that player to have their say before stringing them up... just my 2 cents....

She said that. Which isn't actually much out of context, but you went on to say that you agree with devyn. And then used that agreement to (apparently) justify your decision to sit on this info.

unless I'm completely misreading you repeatedly saying you agree with devyn when she has only had two posts this round, and one has nothing to do with anything.

That's the quote... So figure out why

Well, I guess I'm going to channel jdh and say go ahead and lynch me. I don't respond to demands like this.

I think it is best to sit on the info for now....

you can disagree all you want, but really you are not always right

you just think you are

Determining if there are multiple types of pies. I had one N2, I think, and from the description I got it protected the user or tripped up (blocked?) another player. So if STL's pie had the same description I'd argue that Lissa was blocked rather than protected by it last night.

With that said, I used it on myself, so feel free to correct me if my interpretation of "tripped up" was wrong.
I wasn't told anything about a pie. I was told an intruder broke in and tried to attack me but the bubble blew them back and kept me safe.

Fair enough. But I have no reasons to go for anyone else and I really hate RNG. So unless you're in dire risk of being lynched, I'll keep the vote for now.

As for chaos, I agree strongly. However, the minutiae is that jojo isn't sure the person is actually chaos and we could be lynching a potentially valuable player for the villagers. If they have a win condition, they need to go. With WTF, we knew she was chaos and we knew she had a win condition so I could back that lynch completely. Otherwise, I can see the wolves getting behind lynching that person quite easily.

I don't know who to vote for, but I do think it's odd that Escalla had an investigative object for two nights in a row, and one night found a potential chaos character, and the other night found a potential wolf. But isn't willing to act on either piece of info.
