Same here and no peep at all. Lizzy 64. I'm assuming if we don't hear anything in the next 2-3 weeks then it might be a rejection if interviews only run till March. Hopefully thats not the caseLizzy in the 60's, not one peep . . .

At today's interview they said they will be interviewing through mid-April with about 5-6 more interview days and that the class is approximately 3/4 full. There is hope!!! 🙂Submitted my secondary at the end of October and I haven't gotten a peep in response. At this point I know it's almost certainly a no, but I'm still holding out hope for this school! Can anyone tell me if they'll still be interviewing during March or about how many seats are likely left? Thank you 🙂
Lol it's nonrefundable I don't think anybody has asked for a refundHas anyone had any luck with getting a refund on the first seat-holder deposit? Probably not, right? A shame since it's so steep.
Not yet! Hopefully, soon.Has anyone that interviewed 02/16 heard anything back yet ?
I think it's appropriate to explain your situation and ask when acceptances/rejections/waitlist will be sent out. Make sure that email or phone call REALLY sounds like NOVA is your top choice though haha. I think it's an understandable question tho!Any suggestions......
I have yet to hear back from NOVA after my interview on 02/16 but have been accepted by another school. While I am humbled that another medical school has accepted me, deep down I really want to go to NOVA. My deposit for the other school is due next week, but if I were to get into NOVA I would definitely go (forfeiting my other deposit), so........do you think it is appropriate to reach out to NOVA about my situation and ask them if they can give me an answer about my acceptance before my deposit is due for the other school. This way I would be able to put down or not put down a deposit in confidence that it would not be money down the drain.
Thanks for all the help.
I've heard that typically this isn't considered a good look...however you may want to just call and ask when decisions for your interview date are expected. I feel like another week from now is likely enough time to hear back. I'm in the same situation on a later timeline than you and I'm waiting until the very last hour to see if I have to put down the deposit at the other school.Any suggestions......

I would say earlier is always better!Hey guys! I have an interview scheduled for March 31st, but it looks like an earlier date has opened up.
Does anyone know if NOVA interviews just for the waitlist on the later dates? Would I have a better chance of getting accepted if I do an earlier interview like next week?
I would appreciate any insight or help on this matter.
Any suggestions......

When do they pull off from the wait list?
Any suggestions/advice going into these "group" interviews?
I may have been mistaken, but I thought the interviews were conducted with a group of applicants and possibly two interviewers? What group interview?
No worries! I think most interviews were with 1 or 2 interviewers, but only one student 🙂 btw great username and avatar!I may have been mistaken, but I thought the interviews were conducted with a group of applicants and possibly two interviewers?
Nevermind, I must've misread something somewhere. I've the correct information now.
Thanks! Once I get accepted I may change my avatar to a more serene JD.No worries! I think most interviews were with 1 or 2 interviewers, but only one student 🙂 btw great username and avatar!
+1When are accepted students supposed to order white coats? And can we go to the bookstore and try them on first?
Got an II on Monday and can't wait to see the school. Does anyone know if there are any spots still available if not, do they have a waitlist and does it see much movement?
Sweet. I've got a 27 MCAT and 3.4 sGPA, 1000+ volunteer hours, more than enough shadowing (DO and MD) and president of pre-med fraternity. With it being this late in the application cycle do I stand a chance? Not sure about the waitlist really, but I do think there are still spots open.

Any advice for the interview?I would say that if you were invited to the interview, you have a pretty good shot. Good luck!
Ummmmm got an email an hour ago telling me I was accepted, then 5 minutes later got another email saying the first email was recalled, and now have gotten another email saying I am accepted again........So am I accepted ? lol
Anyone receive any more information excluding the initial acceptance packet?
Nope. What'd you get in the initial packet? All I got was a copy of what was in the email.
Sent from my iPhone using SDN mobile app
Got accepted today! I'm sure you'll hear back soon too. All the best.Anyone else that interviewed 2/16 heard anything yet??
Any interview tips. things to do/things to avoid? i read it's a fairly short interview - approx. 20 min. is this still the case? is it one on one or group? sdn seems to be split 50-50 on this in the interview feedback. will really appreciate any words of advice. best of luck to you all!
