We're all in the same boat. Don't stress yourself out - it's still super early. Only 10 out of about 72 programs have sent out interview invites. I'm sure yours are coming soon. Stay positive, @Orthosmilz!

Anyone still waiting for an application complete email from Columbia? I submitted everything early July and they keep sending me automated emails saying I haven't paid the supplemental fee. I tried emailing and calling but nobody responds :(

I got an email on 8/25 stating it was complete (submitted everything at the end of July / early August) and then another email on 8/31 stating that my application was under review. I tried calling them one time too, but never had any luck with them answering. I paid the fee online though as opposed to sending a check. I would just keep trying.. sorry to hear you're having trouble @sundaequeen!

Did anyone here apply to the new program in Atlanta, GA? or know any residents that go there who have shared their thoughts on the program?
 
Hey Everyone, congrats to those that have received interviews; that's awesome.

I'm currently batting 0/3, so Orthosmilz I understand your disappointment.

A couple questions, probably more suited for previous applicants:
1. Do ortho residencies send out interviews in multiple batches i.e. multiple dates?
2. Do most send rejections letters?

I have searched the forums more than I care to admit and can't remember these questions being discussed. Wondering because I have received rejection letter from Indiana, but haven't heard from Texas A&M or now Tennessee (so I assume it's a no). Any insight would be appreciated.

1. Some programs send out interviews on a rolling basis (calls/emails to people on different days) but most programs just send out interviews on one day. This applies to programs that have multiple interview dates.
2. Most programs do not send out rejection letters. It's really nice when they do because then you officially know. Sometimes non-match programs don't even send out rejections after they've filled up all their spots...

Does anyone know anything about the University of Alberta? When do they invite for/do the interviews?

Also, what about the quality of the program there?

I asked IOWA and she said that the invitation alrea out and all of them already schedule for interview.

Harvard's interviews are also all out? I heard someone already got interview.

Don't quote me on this, but it seems that programs receive several hundred applications and interview around 20-40 applicants depending on how many resident slots they have.

I wonder that for the programs that call to invite for interview, will they send the email to confirm later on? I know that UCLA do both phone call and email. How about UCSF or UNC?

I think UCSF just does the phone call. But things could change this year... So don't take my word for it.

Correct. Most programs will offer a couple dates though. In another couple weeks I'm sure you'll see at least a few "can you trade me days" posts in this thread. Good luck!

This application process is a rollercoaster of emotions! I got a couple interviews so far, but today I saw my final ADAT standing... Ouch! Really hope the remaining schools that did not request the ADAT don't put too much value in the scores :p
 
Hi all sorry just realized people were adding to the earlier created interview list...but anyone having a conflict with UNC Chapel Hill and Tufts....? What do you plan to do?

I don't think the ADAT official scores are available until the 15th according to their website. They have the "preliminary" results available. Whatever that means...

It seems like for the most part they send out one batch. That being said some of the people they invite will decline and they'll send out a few more

soo this is super late but i just got an email from tufts saying application complete lol... it's probably safe to assume that all their interviews are already given out right?
