Hi! Has anyone applied to Loma Linda? Did you fill out the supplemental application? There is a section asking to add recommenders. Do you know if we need to add recommenders to this even though we have submitted evaluations through PASS?
Great, thank you 🙂Yes, as long you have three uploaded to PASS. You can leave that section blank. If you look at the Loma Linda admission requirement website, it states that you can do this. I applied there, did it that way, and I received a confirmation email that my application is complete.
I think this varies from school to school. While some send out invites before they close deadlines, some wait till deadlines close. I think they send out a few batches but again it varies a lot.Quick question, do programs have rolling interviews? Or is it a situation that if you haven't gotten an email when they send out the invites, you have to hope there's a spot open up post-match?

Anyone can recommend what's the best interview attire? Would a formal dress for women work or does it have to be a suit? (Sorry for the odd change of topic)
I don't think so. The application deadlines for some of them like Houston and UNLV are in october. So I think they do rolling interviews and will send more in th future. If I did not get any interview from the universities that already sent interview invitations, means it’s over ??
For the school that called me, They left voicemail and said they understand most of us are in class or clinic.
They mentioned they will send interviews end of October after deadline closes.Anyone hear from Temple?
Thank you for letting me know! They mentioned they will send interviews end of October after deadline closes.
Hey everyone,
My name is Joe and I'm a second year pediatric dental resident at Baylor/Texas A&M's program. I wanted to give you all a heads up that our main college campus removed the GRE/ADAT requirement this year, so if you haven't yet, you are still able to apply until October 1st. Happy interview season y'all!
Did you even confirm these schools accept foreign trained dentists? Many programs don’t.So, what is the chance of getting acceptance for me?
Yes they all do. But many of them do not provide stipend for themDid you even confirm these schools accept foreign trained dentists? Many programs don’t.
Big Hoss
I think you are right that all of these accept foreign graduates. I think a lot of programs are looking to make sure that even though someone might have a lot of experience they are still teachable. I hope you get interviews and you are able to show them this. I think something else that would help in getting interviews is doing externships at these universities and putting yourself in front of the program, and showing them your commitment. Good luck for this cycle!Hi everybody,
I have applied to 11 Pediatric Dentistry Programs in the US this year, including U. Louisiana, UIC, Nova, BU, Herman Ostrow, U. Michigan, U. Texas, U. Maryland, Uconn, U. Louisville, Rutgers
My profile is that;
-Foreign trained
-PhD in Pediatric Dentistry in my home country
-More than 2 decades practical experience in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry( No US experience)
-2 research projects published in J Dent Child and Oper Dent
-Passing Nbde1,2
-DDS gpa is 2,43
-PhD gpa is 3,50
-Toefl score is 90
So, what is the chance of getting acceptance for me? If anybody can comment my inquiry I will really appreaciate it. Thank you.
