UIC offered virtual dates for 10/12 and 10/19...I don't know what the in-person dates are! Hopefully you guys hear soon 🙂

Did she just need to confirm our email and then we will get something later today?
When she asked "are you ok with virtual?" What did that mean? Did I have a choice? 🤣

Yes! She just confirmed my email address and said that we would receive an email with more info today or tomorrow. She told me they are only doing virtual and I just responded that was okay haha.

If you have interview offers on conflicting days, is it inappropriate to ask for an alternate date? What is the most professional way to handle this?

I feel like programs have to understand that there's bound to be a conflict of schedules. I would just write them an email explaining there are scheduling conflicts and if there are any other dates and/or times available you would be grateful to have one of those slots. If the program doesn't understand or doesn't really want to work with you on that you should be asking yourself if that is really a place you want to go spend the next couple years of your life.

I have not been asked to test or bring my vaccine card to either of the in-person invites that I have; however, I have looked up their policy on vaccinations and both require it for all hospital employees. I am just going to bring my card in case.

They also say in the emails, "more info to come!" so...

Wish I could make it better by giving you an actual answer. 😔 Seems like most schools send offers out at once (or over a couple of days…I’ve gotten invites the day after they were posted here). If people reject their offers though they may send out more. So keep your head up, if you haven’t gotten a rejection I say there may be a chance. This is all my opinion though.

I think OP meant NYU which is another peds dental residency outside of the NYU Langone programs. And no, I don’t think all the NYU Langone programs sent out invites, only the ones already posted!
