It seems like we've been here before...

We start the day with a plea... let us finally be done with this and kill the master... I am begging you all...

But, this is what the master wants, isn't it? How can the great and powerful doctor have lived this far, and why hasn't she looked into the mind of SOV?

Why should we lynch Cuit again just to be wrong?!? Cuit can't beat us alone, so why not make sure she is alone before wasting any more days on this? We wrong, we only have 2 more chances! IF we randomly lynch someone now, we can get 3 chances (😉)!

it's like they all are under a perception filter... it's like they all want to vote for her, even though they don't really know why... and what's with all that tapping?

Suddenly, there is a shot of a gun...



And with that, you have lynched, @cuitlamiztli , aka the Master the alpha wolf, who could only die when no other wolves were left, and could change one vote each day due to his "persuasive" nature.

Left standing is @that redhead , the 10th doctor, who could every night choice between investigate, block, or protect (nothing 2 nights in a row), and if killed, would pick the person that would regenerate as the 11th doctor

@WhtsThFrequency , River Song, the doctor's wife and one of his deadliest enemies. If the 11th doctor was killed, she would have a choice: give up her last life to save him, or let him die and join the wolves... she could learn one role description every other night. She had a 100% chance of surviving a first death, and 50% chance of surviving a second...

@StartingoverVet, Madame de Pompadour, who would seer back the doctor and everything he knew if the doctor seered her (which, once TRH admitted she was the doctor on N3, made this role less interesting)

@Flim Flam Man , Captain Jack Harkness, who could only die when the rest of the world lived (meaning he could only die on a cycle that followed a no kill)

@hedgiehog , Vincent Van Gogh, who was such a recluse in his time that she could not PM with anyone, but whose work of art would transcend time and be admired throughout history.

@FantasyFlyer , Charles Dickens, whose way with words allowed her to do 3 writeups

@Cyndia , Clara Oswin, the faithful companion who, even when a Dalek still could communicate with the doctor, and able to send him messages through time and space

and @AlorsOnDanse , Wilfred Mott, an old vet who could avoid one kill attempt by the master (who in the show his gun was used by the doctor) or the Daleks (who on the show he shot with a paintball gun to avoid)...

Man, I wish I could have made that choice. I would have given myself up for the villagers benefit no doubt. I get converted far too much and wanted to break the cycle. I guess I technically stayed good to the end anyway.

Villagers had their **** together.... we never expected you guys to be so coordinated and figure out all of our twists... you got lucky sometimes (Wildcatj would have screwdrivered as human, any villager that used their skill up [Like Samoa or FF] would have been seered by TRH as having no role)... and the wolves had some bad luck (trying to kill FFM and then trying to convert him), but the level of cooperation was some of the best I've seen in a long time in WW, so kudos... that's how you have to play my games :heckyeah:

Everyone had a role btw... some of you had some passive roles, and FS had a negative role essentially, but you all had roles 😛

even if you didn't know all of the nuances to your roles 😉
 
Cuitl, why didn't the wolves EVER try to kill TRH? were you afraid that you just couldn't kill the doctor? If you guys had EVER missed a night, we were going to randomly kill her for you guys...
 
Oh and I have to say we were a little surprised that the dead's comments were being taken semi-seriously (when controlled by the Weeping Angel), given what happened in Crazy Town with SOV...:laugh:

I was very sad to see that role go...

I swear to god, I was so confused by that... I was going to push for a trh lynch next if the cuit one didn't work, I was so sure she must have been converted once ws was killed and they'd found out she could seer!

Man, first time I've actually survived until the end and a first win too. The game was great! Definitely a roller-coaster trying to figure everything out! And I'm now addicted to yet another series. Thanks @Escalla for that hahahahahaha first Once Upon a Time and now Doctor Who.

We were concerned that she'd be hard to kill, and I think by the time we really wanted her gone we didn't want to risk having a kill fail.

Was trying to figure out what angle you were going... we were definitely hoping for a little more chaotic...

I was also thinking, it would be killer if you asked about Cybermen about 30 minutes before you asked about Cybermen
 
My only disappointment was that my role never really evolved into what it could have been. Got to take on Devyn's abilities (I was giggling when people were all annoyed over 'losing' such a 'valuable' role.), but never got to the next step of deciding whether to take on a different companion's role.

Ah well! Was still a fun game.

I have to admit, for a while I was pretty sure you were totally playing me..... but I stuck with the minor trust relationship / alliance.

@allieh8607 , apparently I died before you were converted? So you didn't play me? I feel better. 🙂
 
I also didn't think Lupin was going to use all 3 of her investigations on N1-3 :laugh:

So, the conversion mechanism:

If the ratio of Wolves : Total players was less than 1:5, they could convert instead of kill (and like SOV said, this was an unblockable, group activity, whereas the kill was an individual activity). There were about 6-7 unconvertable players (whom the wolves seered like 4 of them out of their 5 seers). One of those conversions could be a resurrection...

We didn't fully put 2 and 2 together and realize that every night after a wolf lynch would essentially lead to a wolf conversion :smack:

It also assured that we'd get a little closer to an endgame situation, but actually penalized the villagers for powning so much early on

The wolves missed an opportunity to convert N1. I love the N1 no kill conversion

Correct, Allieh was a villager when she decided to kill Lupin instead of Alors. She was converted the following night
 
I can give a night by night rundown, but I've been excited about this writeup and ending that I haven't eatten dinner, and chinnese food won't deliver now so I have to cook something 😢

I'll admit it was that WW that sucked me into Once. After season 2 was over I figured meh I'm done with this lame show, and yet I've found myself having gave in and in the midst of watching season 3...I was bored okay?
 
Oh, and the 1870's books that Dyachei was looking at (@LetItSnow ) how else could someone in the 1940's find something that someone had in the 1870's (the time era she was looking into) but looking at pictures from that era...

Yeah...we were pretty consistent with giving you hints in the write-ups, though sometimes they were taken incorrectly. Someone took the pistol idea and ran with it, which was great from our POV.

Like FFM's survival write-up? No one but Capt Jack...but you would probably have to be familiar with the show to pick up on it. (The youtube video of him dying and then coming back to life over and over was probably so obvious that you didn't consider it...😏)

I figured that you wouldn't have tried to kill me, knowing what my role was.

I think the only reason I stayed in the game as long as I did was because I was adamantly on the wrong side of most of the wolf lynches.

And no one would have known how to kill you and basically would have had to be lucky to have kilt you...

it was the ultimate anti-FFM role. I was happy you got it
 
Oh, and my favorite exchange in the game happened on D1:

"TRH: I don't know how I keep getting these great roles"

"RoJo: Well, the doctor always wanted to be a ginger"

I'm disappoint no one made that comment during the game when TRH revealed she was the doctor. I am disappoint in all of you!
