I have arisen from the grave.... feck sake..... sorry all I have been fighting a ridiculous virus all week and the medicine I am on is making it worse.... I was really bad last night and passed out at 9 PM my time slept for 12+ hours and then could not get SDN to work all friggin day.... I have been feeling like hell.... just caught up now.

I am not sure what to think of this clusterfeck of a lynch that went on. All I know is most people in the group are not stupid enough to kill someone in their group who role revealed.

Fecking SDN did not post this....

And is Adolf Hitler good in Dr Who? 😵 I am confused now.... and I also feel like someone is out to get our group.... not very cool....
 
Wolves killing people in the group that was suspicious. Seems similar game play to last pre-vet game... :eyebrow: Why use the wolf kill to narrow a group down, unless their are no wolves in that group. Maybe wolves really did just get extremely lucky N1...

(Just gonna stick with my earlier hunch, so I'm throwing this out now in case SDN throws more fits and I can't get on in time for another lynch vote. I'll try to check in and waffle if there was news overnight.)
 
They killed...Hitler? Any chance this was a villager killer role or someone trying an item or something? I wouldn't expect someone to use something like that so early, but Dominic was pretty suspicious yesterday.

I want to make sure I've got a lynch vote in, so I'm going with lynch cuit for now. Going to see Thor 2 in a little while, but I'll check in after the movie to see if there's more info.
 
I just can't wrap my mind around why the wolves would kill off someone already so suspicious that had a good chance of getting lynched eventually

Probably because no one would expect them to do that. They might be trying to make that group look like a set-up and that there aren't any wolves in it. Which makes me think there probably IS a wolf in it. I'm going to leave it alone for now, but I haven't forgotten about it.

Because a) he suddenly came back and was all "Oh, I just realized I'm super important!", and b) there's at least some chance SOV will go down for it.

Personally I think we're on a big red herring with this whole "hunt down the entire group" thing that appears to be going on. Not saying there ISN'T a wolf in that group, but the reasoning behind why there "has" to be one has never really been compelling to me.
 
Meh, the longer we go on, the more I don't think there is a wolf in that group. If there is, they're doing everything very uncharacteristically of a seasoned wolf, and I wouldn't considered any of them a noob wolf. Aside from Dom, who obviously wasn't the wolf
 
Hitler is obviously a baddie IRL. However in terms of the show this was irrelevant, I wouldn't expect it to be a wolf role.

However, I have done additional thinking on the matter of SOV's role. The bad guys in "Girl in the Fireplace" also had the ability to root around in people's brains. But they were non-human. Whereas Mme de Pompadour is definitely human. So it should be easy to figure him out, based on the ability he claims, with the sonic screwdriver.

I had forgotten he had said that. Yeah, that made him a huge wolf target.
 
I still want to think there's probably a wolf in that group, but I am confused as heck about it and so I'm maybe leaning towards it being total luck on the wolves part. Or else its someone who's role revealed. Eh. I'm hesitant to target anyone who's given a believable alibi yet, since it's still so early in the game, so basically no idea who to lynch. I do strongly believe SOV though (just saw the season 2 episode with Mme de Pompadour this week) and I don't think he would have thought to comment on the mind reading bit without it having actually been in his description.

So... In case forums conk out again, RNG just gave me lynch wolfspeaker, but I'll easily waffle if any evidence at all pops up!
 
Also I thought the bad guys in the "girl in the fireplace" episode only did brain scans to check her age? They couldn't actually read her mind? I was working on stuff while watching it though, so maybe I missed that bit. I am super intrigued as to what his special role could be.. considering they'd wanted her brains to power a space ship in the episode!
 
Oh and I am officially on to season 3, wahoo! Was kind of sad to see Rose go (even though it did weird me out to see billie piper playing such a young innocent role.. all I've ever seen her in before was in Secret Diary of Call Girl!), but I'm all for the new companion that's a med student!

They wanted her brain because the spaceship was named "Madame de Pompadour" so they thought her brain was the appropriate computer for the ship.
 
Dyachei..what did you learn about dom's role that made him think he was important. I can't see how bombing your group is a good thing to do. Wondering if there is color cDNA or not, or if he was neutral or something... Unless the bombing only worked n wolves? Ver confusing...but wolf or not....can't say I am upset to see him gone.

glad I didn't have the role of Hitler. Sounds like one I'd get, trying to convince people I'm not a wolf....
 
Perhaps his ability would protect the group somehow. I think FFM is on track with the idea that the role name causes an knee-jerk "wolf role" reaction from people when in reality he was likely a villager.

I still think there is something quite fishy going on in that group, though. Everyone knows I'm a big proponent of wolf in each group (DVMD, if you're reading this: yes, it's not always true 😉) and I think there are a few people nudging us away from that group now. Convenient now that a couple of villagers have already been removed and the likelihood of finding that wolf (if it's there, fair enough) is increasing. So I'm going to stick to it and RNG lynch devyn.

Oh gotcha, I was super confused at where you'd gotten that info, but just reread the pages before the last lynch and realized it was info straight from him. I don't blame him for trying to pretend to be useful, I would certainly have wanted to lynch him if I'd known he was Hitler! Not the best villager role to have, to put it lightly 🙄

A WW First: A mid-round lynch!

Sick and tired of the forum issues, the villagers are unanimous in deciding this lynch... it was quite easy...

The villagers go atop the mighty SDN forum tower and grab @Lee kicking and screaming "I only wanted to make the forum better!"

You have lynched @Lee aka The Abzorbaloff who could one time (hear that @Lee one time!) absorb all the fun from the game by bring the SDN servers down for the entire day....

Man this is crazy. I feel like I need to start a WW journal to keep track of all the wolf accusations, changing groups, numbers, etc.

I was blocked last night, so that was uncool.

I don't know about everyone else, but I ****ing hate computer problems.

No idea when deadline will be, but just in case I don't get back in time(and we all know how much you lot like to bandwagon on me):

Hedgie and I role revealed to each other the first night. I believe she is who she says she is and that she is a villager. And I believe she will say the same about me.

I'm actually getting out o fmy house for a couple of hours! Probably going to regret it, but it's Parade of Lights in my town and it only happens once a year. I'm going to go watch.

Yes, I did get an anonymous message N1. If Lupin is who she claimed to be in the PM, then she has a non wolf role that is likely in the game.

👍 must admit, I had a mini panic attack when you posting day closed, results pending. SDN today made me want to bang my head against a wall from frustration...ugh
