I don't actually think I have any experiences with w!clem if I'm remembering correctly. Death nommy clem REALLY wanted to die to put up his POE for yeet the following day, and I think the only other game was SPN where I was a wolf and Clem was village. Last game in tots I think I was suspicious of clem for a bit. I don't know that I've ever seen clem wolf which is why I'm so unsure.

Okay. I'm confused what the "vote for Clem is never wrong" statement is stemming from if it's only been wrong in your experience.

I've said, I don't want to really vote anyone but I would like to save my vote sleep and also not get bonked.

Of course I'm hoping not to be voted out as right now I am the only for sure village person that I know of.

So, not entirely sure how to legacy. I'm going to still take the framework that there is a pack (or equivalent) out there, because good/bad is the easiest way to post some sort of reads list. But whoever is still here tomorrow probably needs to give some thought to the meaning of who died overnight. Yes, ordinarily you can tie yourself in knots trying to understand an NK, and that may still be true... but if someone is trying to kill a specific set of players to fulfill a wincon that isn't simple parity with village, then maybe there is something that could be gleaned from the NK.

Scum reads for me, in no particular order, is @Clem J , @_rae_ , @genny , @CeeGee14 . I think it is unlikely that all 4 of them are scum, because many of them are also pointing fingers at each other, but I would not be surprised if there are at least 2 scum here.
-Clem is obvious; I am trying to avoid falling into the trap of tunneling on him, and to a point that @WildZoo made last night it's almost preposterous that he would make such a blunder to shoot himself in the foot and lie so blatantly if scum.
-genny: to use the term someone else used, it's like grinding gears. Maybe they're super busy. But I'm a little surprised that there hasn't been really any sort of pointed needling of her apparent POE.
-rae: I'm sort of conflicted on, and I know this is a departure from how I felt on D1. But as time has gone on, I just don't feel like there was a ton of nuance to the reads. Top reads seem to be Clem and genny, who I think are among the top two for everyone (I guess including me), and her reasoning in the reads list yesterday for all of her scum reads was some variation of "something's not right." By now I feel like we would have gotten something more substantial.
-CG: I still feel like they're mostly coasting in the background. Another person where their only scum reads seem to be Clem and genny.

Possible scum, in no particular order: @screamqueenbee , @fruitsalad
-SQB is a little all over the place still for me. May just be their style, or may be trying to push an agenda. Less likely than the 4 above to be scum, IMO, but someone to still watch.
-fruits has gotten more and more close to what I expect from V!fruits over the last 24h. Still watching but asking better pointed questions.

A category of their own: @samac and @WildZoo . They're either both town and doing a phenomenal job of trying to work through the weeds of the mechanics of this place, or one of them is scum and has pocketed the other. In the latter case, I could see a scenario where the scum player is driving a false mechanical narrative and the other person is eating it up, or the town player could be coming up with a false narrative and the scum player could be adding fuel to that narrative. V/V is possible (and maybe even probable), I think W/W extremely unlikely, but some pairing of V/W seems plausible.

Currently town in my reads, in no particular order: @Animal Midwife , @finnickthedog , @Barkley13 , @kitzsuna . I have seen nothing in particular from these players to raise a red flag for me (with the slight exception of kitzsuna who I brought up yesterday briefly, but ultimately not enough to worry me yet). This group also is exclusively players who I have literally no experience playing with, which is moderately concerning... but I can't concoct a read that I don't have, even if I think this doesn't look ideal for me.

I just don't feel the same depth in your reads that I feel I would have gotten by this point in the game. Maybe some of it is the fact that a LOT more energy than usual was spent in the mechanical weeds yesterday (globally, not just you) than doing ISO's on specific players and putting pressure on sus players. Nevertheless, if I'm doing the exercise of who am I watching closely and trying to look beyond Clem who is a giant neon sign... this is what I feel, at this moment in time.

Who is sus reading people for not being okay with Clem lying?

Like I will admit I'm not as bothered by Clem lying as others but that's because 1) I know Clem 2) I know villagers lie all the time (hi Midwife) and 3) I have my doubts that a scum Clem makes the exact sequence of choices he made here

I’ve lied at least 3 times and I’m a villager. Not anything like clems lie but I find it more fun to see what people do. I do it all the time.

Since you asked so nicely, though, I did a quick perusal. Please don't bonk me if I missed a post that stands out to you personally, this is just a skim:
-barks: Has been busy, but was here for a solid chunk of the morning yesterday. I liked the reasonable questions about the sus on genny, and the defense of SQB, which sort of went against the grain. It came with receipts from totting with SQB previously. A reasonable defense of Clem as being like village Clem before the lying part came out. Nothing in there really unusual to me.
-Finn: was the second person to vote for Clem yesterday before it was cool, so that earned some points from me. Weighed in on a few others like fruit and dubZ. There does appear to be a lack of strong reads on most of the players, but they are (I think?) also not familiar with a good number of players in this game. The content that I can see looks fine.

What are your thoughts on them, @samac?

My problem is that he changed his story only when the inconsistencies were revealed and he was in serious danger of dying.

He made the inconsistencies exist when there was no reason to, at a point where iirc he wasn't being questioned.

The "oh yeah I need to tell you that this person isn't my mason partner because mason won't show up as our ability" thing was unprompted.

No, that is exactly what happened. He said "Actually I'm not a mason" when the votes were 5-4 with him self-prezzing <30 min to EOD.
