Official Doctor Who WW Redux Game Thread

Who is the "you" referring to? WTF? She wasn't part of the group originally.

Sorry, was referring to WTF. And she wasn't part of the original group, but she was still part of Dom's "time" when he posted what he did. I'm not saying I'm convinced it's WTF, just speculating.

PM's seem to be on the fritz... sorry if you received more than 1 from the mods..

And please, if you send out a PM, make sure it goes through.

I still wonder if we are missing something so obvious. :bang:

We have SOV who is claiming to be Madame de P. Which, if he were a wolf, would be a rather ballsy role to claim. Even though it's only 1 episode, it still had a lot of significance. And Hitler and Churchill were just as "minor" a role.

We have Dyachei, who WTF says she's pretty certain is not a wolf

And then WTF, who, if a wolf, I don't think would make that claim about Dyachei, as that would put her in the hotseat.

So, what are we missing with these "clues". Just something to distract us by?

I am thoroughly confused. Sigh. Glad to know my gut was right about devyn.. too bad someone closed early though. :banghead: My guess is maybe the Tardis does that? That was mentioned as an item ages ago, right?

Thanks a ton you bunch of fecking imbeciles!!!!

Think with your goddamn brains. And something sure is amiss but
It's not me.

Complete BS!

I've had internet issues all day and could not get on to SDN to
Post as it was down when I did have internet so I thought I did the
Next best thing. Apparently not. You guise are not playing with your heads.

Let's kill an entire group. Sooner or later we will get a wolf. Who cares if
We kill off all the important roles too.

Prevet WW for the lose. And I can't believe the lynch was closed early and
I wasn't allowed to come on and defend myself. I thought I had bloody time

Sorry but I'm not sorry. Ha

Well, I didn't vote for devyn. Wonder if I am still an imbecile?

gotta love the cluster f that occurs before we get our first wolf.

Yeah, I'm a little peeved about lynch closing early. I WAS going to waffle off of you, FWIW. Dyachei didn't exactly give a great defense for you.

Made it sound like she could investigate.

True, though the first two deaths actually stated out their roles bolded in their death description, and hers might have just been creative license on the mods part. Anyways, fingers crossed anyways, I'd like to think we've still got a tracker about.

Yup blame it on me. Not the people that voted for her

ffs, I didn't say it was your fault. There is no ONE fault here, except for whoever closed lynch early. I might be inclined to blame it on them.

The last time you were like this, you were a wolf.

How would that put her in the hotseat? It would be easy for a (hypothetical) wolf to vouch for a villager.

Nope not true. The last time I was like this I was a villager until I was converted and then not like this anymore. You did blame me indirectly.

So....does anyone think that perhaps Dom just wants us to kill off that group because he's....well...Hitler? And went around wanting to kill a bunch of shyte in the 1940s?

.

I know this is self serving at this point, but why do we assume that what the dead says is correct. I can see giving them the opportunity to say something, but it doesn't mean it is based on info.

Dom was like a junk yard dog that just wouldn't let go of his singular thought. I just assumed that he was continuing that in death. Sadly I can see that no one is likely to really believe this until Dyachei and I are killed off.

Please no strategizing after death... i know it was mainly ranting, but no strategizing after death

In all fairness to that person, devyn had seven votes. That's six more than anyone else, and nearly everyone had voted. Yet you're acting like yours is the only vote that mattered.

Is that the case? If not, then I think we were just spared 8 more hours of wolfy BS with no significant impact on the results of the lynch.

Going off the assumption that we can trust the dead(not sure if we can, really). SOV is crossed off on some peoples' lists, Devyn obviously wasn't a wolf, WTF basically told us to cross off Dyachei. That leaves WTF. I don't think she would do that, so something stinks.

Nope not true. The last time I was like this I was a villager until I was converted and then not like this anymore. You did blame me indirectly.

Last game, you got bucky with me and that round we lynched you and you turned out to be a wolf.

Yes, if you honestly thought Devyn was a villager, you should have been a little more adament than "she's in Paris and can't defend herself". But it is not YOUR fault or any ONE person's fault that Devyn was lynched. So, no, I'm not blaming it entirely on you.

Ummm, no. You read that wrong.

Some of us were just getting into having a discussion as to whether Devyn was wolfy or not and whether there really was a wolf in that group. That's when lynch was called. I don't remmeber if others were thinking of waffling off of Devyn, but I had voiced that I wasn't sure about lynching Devyn right before it was called.

Guys, I am in no way saying any one person is at fault or that MY vote is the only one that matters. Pleaase get off that track and let's focus on the game.

But you're not denying it either. Yes or no, is your vote more important in some way than the rest of ours?

No. I'm not even sure where you would be getting that.
She's saying you're acting like your waffle would have been the most important waffle of all time. When in fact it would have been a run of the mill, hotel lobby breakfast waffle.

We had 8 more hrs(I thought we only had until 2pm EST, as per posted on FB). I was starting to ask Dyachei questions about whether or not Devyn told her her role and whether she believed it and other people were wondering if there even was a wolf in that group. So, yes, I believe some people may have waffled off of Devyn, depending on what Dyachei had said. I, in no way, even suggested that my vote was the only one that mattered.

Ah. So this isn't some kind of game mechanic . . . I thought you were allowing the dead to ruin the game for a single post once when they died. I'm glad to see this isn't a planned thing.

So far, only those that have died during Night have posted "hints". If we can call them that.

Is wolfspeaker OVERLY defensive or just normally defensive? I'm still thinking overly defensive.
She's kinda always like this. It's why we lynch her a lot

And they were both relatively new players who may not know about how seriously no strategizing after death is taken.

So based on the fact that is has been called out that there is indeed no strategizing after death (unless these two people are somehow special which would seem like quite a co-inkydink), can we leave the whole let's kill everyone in said group thing?

It is ONE strategy . . .

Not saying it's the right strategy, but it is one way to go about things in a systemic manner. Just to be sure.

What Dom and Chillbo said (especially from familiarity with Dom's particular style of writing in the lounge) doesn't seem like normal "Oops, unfamiliar with WW rules" posting. They starred their posts, and it was bolded and italicized and both were of a smiliar style of writing. Add in rojo's comment and I think we can be pretty sure that what they said is definitely related to the game and something to consider. And I have to agree with jdh - it's a strategy. The dead people's (permitted) comments have suggested there is something bad in that group. If anyone else has any other leads to follow, please go ahead and share them so we can pursue them. But eliminating that group is ONE way to determine if dead people's permitted hints are indeed valuable.

Certainly possible, can't argue with that. But if we continue to whittle away at your group (barring other valuable information), we determine whether or not the dead people blurbs are wolf-control (likely if no wolf in the group) or more reliable hints. It'd be better if people in the group were looked into, of course, but it is one strategy.
