Nothing particularly specific. Just one of those "keeps catching my eye" kinda things. And, Lissa voiced even stronger suspicion via PM to me before she died (again).

If I had something really specific I wouldn't have said "hey, please use Santa's List on swings". And, if we have a good lynch candidate I'm willing to waffle. But if we don't, I'm going to stick with the person who's been catching my eye all game.

As far as PMs in our group, it's been quiet for a while now.

I find it odd that you're asserting the likelihood of a wolf in Whoville, but you're pointing at everybody BUT swings, including someone (me) who has been cleared.

2 nights on frosty... she is still alive.
2 nights on FFM ... he only lasted 1 night.
1 night on lissa. lasted one night.

an attempt on EC, failed.

It is possible that the hat has a % of working... so failed on EC, and failed the 2nd night on FFM. It might be worthwhile for whoever has the hat to try it again on Lissa or FFM and see what happens.

IF it is a one-shot use, we might want to be more conservative WHEN we bring back certain important roles if they are lost.

I am wondering if the hat works to keep frosty alive since it is his hat but only has a certain % chance of working and continuing to work for other roles, that is just what I think.

I am not really pointing at ANYONE yet (notice no lynch vote). I want to get more info. I have made it clear why I don't think it's swings. But I can be wrong, I usually am. I just want to get a read on everyone else in the group. And if I remember correctly, you were cleared in the beginning of the game. Quite a few nights have passed since then. One most liklely without a kill. So I there is a strong potential for you to be a converted wolf. I am NOT saying you are, I just wanted more info on your group as a whole.

You know, you get REALLY defensive, REALLY quickly. All I did was ask about more info on your group in general. You happen to live in Whoville, if you didn't, your name would not be on that list.

Again, what I said earlier. I don't like to lynch people who bring us wolves. But that was also a few cycles back, so maybe something has changed since then. I think it less likely for wolves to convert someone who has already brought a great deal of attention to themselves.

See, now, I see wording like "strong potential" and my eyebrows go up. Why is it "strong potential"? Potential? Eh, ok. But "strong"? That's stretching, and suggests to me that you're trying to subtly throw suspicion on somebody.

Same comment. You raised the issue, I responded. I think if you re-read my response you can't seriously call it "REALLY defensive, REALLY quickly" (what does "quickly" even mean in the context of a forum thread - I read your post and responded - big deal). So I see the same thing - somebody trying to subtly throw suspicion.

Not sure who you're referring to here. I don't think I've managed to bring any wolves out this game that I know of.
 
For what it's worth (addressing philliab's comments), I am here. Just sick on top of finals and everything else I have going on, so I'm quieter than I have been the past couple games. Not wolfy, just stressed.

I do think it's statistically less likely for there to be more than one wolf in a group, however, but as demonstrated by past games, that's never a guarantee. Plus with a conversion, that doesn't always hold statistically...though that'd actually be fun to analyze...

Who attempted to bring back EC with the hat? I can't find it.
i tried to stick the heart into her when I had it to see if that would revive, but that was a no go.

I'm going back and forth between wld and swings (which most can see by my voting pattern to date).

Why are you looking for a conversion? I am not saying it isn't possible, actually I think I was one of the ones that mentioned that it could be possible, but why start looking there when I am sure there are some more original wolves...

Seems weird to be questioning people that have already been cleared at this point in the game and your reasoning for swings not being a wolf.. maybe, maybe not. She made an early vote for tropituco and then left. I have made a vote for a fellow wolf before especially early in the game not expecting anything to come of it. I know other people have done the same as well. I wouldn't say that necessarily clears swings.

I am still wondering about FH, where is she? She isn't posting at all and I am not sure if she is even participating in the game at this point.

First, I NEVER do anything subtly. Ask. Those who know me IRL will attest to that. There are a few here. IF I thought you were a real threat and wanted to throw suspicion on you, I would have just come out and voted to lynch you. I AM verbose though, and like to use adjectives when I write. And to be fair, you are the mayor, so technically, that position is more strongly coveted for wolf conversions than regular villagers. That mayor veto has been extremely useful for wolves in the past.

Eh, did not mean "quickly" as in the literal time. Only meant that your name was mentioned in a post, and you got defensive right away. Heck, people have voted to lynch me before and I haven't even said boo to it.

I was talking about swings. She brought us tropicalfruit. That's why I wanted to get a read on the rest of the people in your group. Hence the original post.

I imagine dyachei just stared at the screen and shook her head when she read my message asking to do that. Simply got a response back saying that isn't how it works, but nothing more.

Off to meet a study group, don't know if I'll be back before lynch, I am sticking with my theory of someone in Whoville for now. Still up in the air about swings. Going with the other person who raised suspicion amongst some of us in my group.

I am going to say lynch FH. She has not been posting, no one has mentioned if she has PMed and I doubt there is a role that can't post AND can't PM.. wouldn't make sense as they would not be able to get any information to anyone.

And in the lounge there was a role that couldn't talk until lynched:laugh:

But it doesn't matter because she posted a few times one night when drunk.

And she isn't a wolf.

If there is a wolf in our group, I don't think it's Foxhunter.
Like I said before, I don't think a wolf we be so blantantly MIA for pretty much the whole game.
Although I would like to vote FH for self preservation, I just see it as a lose-lose if we just vote out a different villager.
So I'll go with the vote to lynch wldfndajfn for now.

You guys shouldn't lynch me, I'm just a villager. You think I'm a wolf after leading the vote for tropic who was a wolf? Wouldn't that be too risky to do as a wolf?
Maybe I was playing weird at the beginning of the game idk, but I had a lot of stuff IRL going on at the time and it's been my first time back playing in a while. I don't really know what made y'all so suspicious of me. I really think I've been playing the same as I have before, and I really have nothing useful to contribute to the thread. 🙁 And when I do see something, I put my thoughts on the thread for all to see. My group has pretty much been dead silent, with no helpful or useful information. I've always been hesitant to confide in my group with people who haven't been cleared or the veterans becoming possible conversions, so that's why I don't normally initiate conversation. Idk just thought I'd defend myself before lynch is over.

I just checked and Swings WAS the first to vote to lynch tropicuro. Seems to subtle for a wolf to do.

Now? It has been brought up multiple times she was the frist to vote to tropic. That's why packen changed her tune. Plus my whole group talked about it via PMs.

The only other suggestion (I think kaydubs put it into words in our PMs), was swings put the vote out there wasn't expecting a bandwagon, and then was just like, oh well I can use that to make myself look villager. It has been done before.

I might not have read every single post in this thread.... I have been holed up trying to study for our 16 credit class that has a final (it is like 1/2 the credits for this semester).
