I think if they have open positions after match and you dont match either then they'll reach out to you for an interview then

The interview I had started with an intro of the program and handing out interview times for candidates. We had a meet and greet with residents and one interview with a panel. This is a research heavy program, so 3-4 questions on research. Few other questions were very specific to my SOP, so that was nice. Afternoon of crown preps and a tour of the campus. I did not get in, but it was a good experience overall. The residents are the buffer for the day, and faculty on the panel were all generally very nice. Hope this helps.
