Veterans Affairs, Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System/West LA - October 25th

Did anyone receive an email from Indiana Uni saying application is complete and sent for review. I had applied in June , the dates are already sent out. I am wondering if it’s worth keeping hope?

Guys what is the acceptance rate for prosthodontic residency usually?

Do you guys have enough info, pros and cons, about VA Los Angeles?
It is very nice to go to a VA program but I hear there is a down side to it too.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Does any body have information about Tufts and temple programss? what are they mostly focused on? faculty? facilities? patient pool?

Hi. I have a question regarding UAB interview. They have mentioned to have 4-5 copies of our portfolio on the interview day. What exactly do they mean by that? Is that the same as our CV? It is not very clear. Thanks

Hey guys, does any one has an idea if there will be more invites? or all programs probably sent all their invites!

How the programs that are in MATCH would fill their empty spots when they do not participate in POSTMATCH ?

i have no idea! how do you know the programs that don’t participate in postmatch?

From my understanding all programs that participate in match who have unfilled positions or unmatched positions automatically participate in post match. So those unmatched positions will be shown on the match website on match day but at 12pm EST and anyone registered for the match and who didn't match has access to that list and can email any available programs. I haven't heard of programs participating in match and having unfilled spots and then choosing not to participate in the post match

what about those that do not participate in MATCH?

Participating in post-match is up to the director's discretion. There are cases where the director chooses to not post-match for some reason.
what about those that do not participate in MATCH?
If they didn't participate in MATCH then they would have filled their spot already long before the rankings even start. They usually offer acceptances within 1-2 weeks of their interview.

Good luck everybody! It has been a great interview season, and it has been lovely meeting such a diverse and talented group of individuals. I hope all of us match at places that will make us happy. 😊

Thank you it was nice meeting you all. The match is now open, best of luck for all of you.

Anybody knows why it says withdrawn next to the program code? I did not withdraw so that means they did not rank me?

Is it after you ranked the school and it shows as withdrawn next to the code?

Where did you see withdrawn? That's weird. I don't think it has to do with if they ranked you or not because technically you can add a program you didn't even apply to and it doesnt show withdrawn next to it.

Guys i have a question about the post match positions, where we can see the available positions? and how we are gonna apply to them?

I think the withdrawn means the program itself withdrew from the match process. I wonder if anyone who interviewed at tufts got any updates regarding this since it says withdrawn like mentioned before

When you register for the match, you will be able to see all available unfilled spots on match day but later at 12pm EST. At that point you can directly contact the program that has available spots by either email or calling

i also saw tufts stated Withdrawn and i didn’t know what is means!
I read on match that they can still join the match process before the results day, so technically they are not withdrawn for sure but weird that they have done that

Yes apparently it doesnt have to do with if they ranked me or not, the match webpage says they withdrawn from the match process but they can rejoin until before the results are out

Hello:
Think about doing what I did.
Pairing a multispeciality AEGD and a Prosthodontic residency.

Doing the AEGD before will help you qualify for a TOP tier aegd…like those listed above.

It was life changing and made me broad scope in practice. I love what I do.

I got my MS in Pros from Univ of Minnesota

Do your AEGD first, your application will be at the top. You can get your AEGD from me.

Hello everyone,

I finished pros residency program this past summer from UT Houston and have now joined a private practice. I attended the AEGD at Wichita State before applying to pros programs. Just like Dr. Elledge mentioned, having an extra year after dental school can help you set your application apart. I was really happy with my learning experience and that's what pushed me to love Pros even more. If you are in the process of applying and you have any questions about doing an AEGD before you apply to Graduate Pros programs, please feel free to reach out.
