How hard is the VA endo in NY to get in? How many applications do they get?
How hard is the VA endo in NY to get in? How many applications do they get?
😎The program requires a GPR to apply while most programs do not so that already prevents any new grads from DS from applying making it more difficult.
It is also a two year program with a generous stipend which is highly sought after.
Also they only accept 1 candidate per year.
I’d assume this would be as hard to get into as any other programs maybe even harder as the two year with stipend would appeal to more competitive candidates.
Of course!Applying for the 3rd year in a row. Am I going to be okay? Ha ha![]()
I’m going on 4. You’ll be fineApplying for the 3rd year in a row. Am I going to be okay? Ha ha![]()
Is it too late to apply ? I heard they opened applications on March 3rd ?Reminder OSU app deadline: May 22.
No, they will start reviewing the applications after the deadline as per the completion email. Is it too late to apply ? I heard they opened applications on March 3rd ?
Are interviews on rolling basis ? Thank you

What are things we can do make sure application process goes smoothly ?The application opening is upon us! How is everyone feeling?
All I can be glad for is that the application process will be quick and that we don't have wait until Thanksgiving MATCH to figure out if we will be accepted or not.
Opening May 14thHey guys! Are applications open, because on ADEA Pass it won’t let me select any programs yet… can someone please guide me??? Thanks
Also, for institutional evaluation I need the Dean of my dental school to complete even if I graduated a few years back?
So what does that mean that some programs applications are already open, they aren’t open on ADEA pass??Opening May 14th
Yes for second Ques
Some programs don’t participate in pass so you can apply earlier. Others programs participate with pass, but you may also be able to apply directly to that school. Doing this means you could apply earlier then the pass opening date.So what does that mean that some programs applications are already open, they aren’t open on ADEA pass??
All I learned is make sure you have everything ready to submit early on! Review, revise, and keep track of your application. What are things we can do make sure application process goes smoothly ?
Been wondering the same thing. Hoping someone can chime in who has already been through the process.I got a question, so we need to submit application early, do we submit the scores and transcript to ADEA PASS now as they took 1-2 week to arrive? Or do we submit the scores and transcript after PASS is open?
Just submit once you have it ready. Some schools will send interview invites after a couple weeks. What is considered early for submitting your completed application? Within the first week or is before June (about 2 weeks) okay?
You can always just give it a shot and try applying. The worst that can happen is that you just don't get interviewed there. The best is that the PD sees you have outstanding qualifications and interviews you.UKY's requirement of "minimun cumulative gpa of 3.0 or equivalent or a cumulative ranking in the top 10% of the applicant's dental school graduating class" mean that they wont consider your application if not in the top 10%?
That is probably a good way to waste money... apply smart people. If you don't meet the minimum recommendation for that program I wouldn't bother. Maybe if there was a personal connection, but otherwise no.You can always just give it a shot and try applying. The worst that can happen is that you just don't get interviewed there. That’s not what that statement says.UKY's requirement of "minimun cumulative gpa of 3.0 or equivalent or a cumulative ranking in the top 10% of the applicant's dental school graduating class" mean that they wont consider your application if not in the top 10%?
What school can you have below 3.0 and be in the top 10% lolThat’s not what that statement says.
If you have below a 3.0 and you are not in the top 10% then yes you are not considered.
Another question - for my INBDE results, how do I upload them? I cannot find anywhere to print an unofficial result, so do I just send a screenshot?
No idea lol. What school can you have below 3.0 and be in the top 10% lol
Sent from my SM-S906U using SDN Forums mobile app

Does anyone know if Case Western requires ADAT? On the website it states to submit a score report. Not sure if its optional or not.
Check ADEA PASS : check status it will say arrive. Let me know because i am checking on the same thing too.Anyone know if I need to reorder transcripts if I applied last year? Nothing would have changed in any of my transcripts as I've been out 2 full years now.
They should still be active if it was the past several years. To be sure yours are there, call the customer support. If you are a re applicant. And you apply to adea as re applicant not start new:. Your transcript and scores will upload from previous ADEA PASS CYCLE or you need to order them again ??
I recommend ASAP! That's the case for anything about this application. I would not do beyond June if you have your application ready. What is everyone putting in for "due date" for evaluator LORs?
I took it as basically anything relevant to applying to a dental speciality. A rehash of your CV.What kind of "experiences" do you put on the application? Dental school experiences? How do you filter it? I do not think having 15+ experiencing is the goal here. Right?
Submitting your ADAT opens up the door to programs that require it. If your dental school was Pass/Fail, a score will help. The score is not bad at all, so why not include it.Looking for advice - should I include an ADAT score of 530 on my application or not include it? I did not report the scores to anyone. I understand it's only slightly higher than average so I don't want it to work against me.
