welp. heading into my medchem final now

With the threat of an asteroid looming over them, the creatures are reluctant to come out and declare the being unfortunate enough to be killed by their fellow creatures instead of a natural disaster. It is no surprise really, that @thedrjojo taunts them all during this process, knowing a little something extra. One by one, the mute Fun Guy is voted best one to die a premature death. @ChillboBaggins , aka Reduviasporonites, does not like this one bit. “I was actually being a good fungus for the past few nights, but you won’t let me, will you!?!?! I will show you what I truly am!!” Of course, this is only seen/heard as...

He sporolates into a giant mass and attacks @LetItSnow , of whom he had taken down a notch or two the previous night with Rojo’s de-evolutionary gun. The once great Wooly Mammoth was just a Phosphatherium now, and went down with as much fight as he could muster. He was skinned alive by the Evil Fungus, somewhat like his first few days of clinics.

@devyn had been sitting on a pile of rage for sometime since she had been revived, and seeing the perfect opportunity, used her massive beak to destroy Chillbo and buried him where the sun don’t shine. That kill fungus, right?


Dyachei, swings and devyn were all celebrating when it occurred to them that those PITA two legged creatures who had been messing with them all game were deeply involved, yelling at each other. They watch as Rojo pulls out the time honored move of throwing @Escalla under the bus by a good “What’s that over there?!?” shout that sends her head craning in the direction he pointed. He runs off to that box that the animals had thought disappeared and watch as he takes off.


The World of Pangaea goes dark as the massive asteroid prepares to make a splash landing. @dyachei and @swingnsave take refuge and feel like they will survive as they stuck together and maintained their group through all the ****e Pangaea had thrown at them. With a spectacular finally, the giant space rock explodes Pangaea into an unrecognizable world, and all the while Rojo laughs away in his time machine. It seems to have fixed itself, and he punches in the coordinates for another adventure.

Escalla, our dearly resurrected human companion, thought Rojo was just playing a joke. She packed her bag and waited for him to come pick her up so they could go on other excursions throughout time. She was disappointed.

Also gone once again is devyn, the resurrected Titanis Walleri. I still feel like this is the most awesome creature ever, I mean, who doesn’t love a Terror Bird, with a capital T?

Dyachei, the wise and glorious majestic Gingko Biloba, survives as expected. Also, coincidentally, she won Rojo the Chaos win condition.

That leaves swings, our Thalattosaur, who never was attacked, and well, never really got mentioned much at all. Our last aquatic member swims out to the empty oceans in hopes of finding a mate to repopulate and cement a future with.

oh man, i had fun as chaos... but not nearly as much fun as I could have...

the portable church answers were all me and escalla 😀
the pigeon was under my control and I could see what you all wrote and change it as I wanted 😀
the gun, i gave the mods the option of changing skill with it if they wanted, which i guess it did help convert cyndia.
the whip would have been great, it caused the whipped person to have to use their skill on the whipper... so if you whipped a wolf, they had to kill you. Swings must have been the protector to have protected LIS after he whipped her...

oh, and used a Parka on Dyachei during the second ice age, which allowed her to revive Escalla. I was hoping she was a wolf at that point to kill someone (and thought she might have killed nyanko)... Then ice age 3 i gave swings the parka hoping she was a wolf 😀

i thought there were more wolves than there were actually... i was feeling bad they were floundering alot and started helping them more after I was fecking with them early...

I liked your F the police message chillbo... made me think you might be a wolf...
 
i was essentially an NPC for a while, then at the end the mods told me to place a bet on a placer and their alliance... i picked Dyachei, and used the pigeon to make sure she was a villager 😀
 
So I haz a confused. Did Rojo win? Did Rojo and villagers win? Did Rojo and only some villagers win? Or does no one win when an asteroid crashes into Earth? 😛

I definitely won, Escalla definitely lost, and it appears villagers also won, since my winning was predicated on dyachei being a villager and surviving til the end
 
It was a fun game mods, may have been a bit off balanced with all the resurrection, lis being hard to kill, etc, I could see it frustrating for the wolves. If I knew how few of you there were, I might have not felt as bad for the villagers
 
It was a great game, thanks Kaydubs and Lupin! 😀

Being a wolfie was super fun as well, though I didn't last very long. If anyone has any "how to not be a sucky wolf tips," I would love to hear them 🙂

You guys had two kills per night plus blocking. You also had chillbo seered as villager just as he was supposed to. I did my best to keep it even and DVMD was the only real seer. Everybody else just got descriptions of roles. Everyone has been complaining about converts of late, so I wanted to see what would happen without them. Rojo and escalla were really pretty harmless. They were meant to be a distraction, but no one cared about them. It was an interesting game from behind the scenes. If you are confused as to the end, this sums it up:

Villagers won
Dy and swings survive because they had the most remaining members in Pangaea II subgroup
Rojo won the side chaos win condition of betting on the surviving player and their affiliation. He chose villager dyachei, Escalla chose villager LIS.

I will also say to this, dy made it clear she was the one bringing people back. LIS could have been killed if he was blocked and attacked the same night. I think some of it comes down to who you choose to kill as a wolf. They unfortunately kept killing off minor roles instead of the bigger ones. This is where all the complaining about not killing so and so because they are a veteran seems silly to me. If the role is dangerous to you, be it villager or wolf, you kill them. :cigar:
 
My original intent for this game was to introduce a different mechanic where the strongest survived & won the game. It wasn't wolves vs. villagers in my mind, honestly. It was tricky to keep all of the communication in check so I appreciate everyone going along with a game that Lupin & I were making up (at some points) as we went. The vast majority of roles were Lupin's creation. And I'm impressed by many things on the part of my co-mod but especially that she's been swamped with finals & still helping.

Also, to the players who were battling finals & clinics, I appreciate you stuck it out. This game seemed to go on quite long - til Lupin and I decided it was time to end it all in a mass of asteroid glory.

It had to do with the fact that the subgroup survival was mentioned as paramount from the beginning of the game for our animal/plant kind. dy and swings were in a sub group, LIS and devyn were singles. Therefore, they did not get the survivor win condition.

devyn was my 2nd choice since I figured the wolves would have to off dyachei....but they didn't.
 
Oh and what I was going to share were the random night results summaries that the time machine provided.

But work was crazy and I never got the chance.

To be fair, if you are talking about the early-game comments, that was when the wolves were killing people without knowing the role, right? I think it's a legitimate grumble. If someone's been aced out early in a few games, it's kinda cruel for the wolves to kill them early just as a random pick.

If there's some particular strategy/reason behind killing someone, well sure - that's just part of the game.

Personally, I think the de-evolution gun probably should have resulted in the targeted person knowing they had been de-evolved. I mean... how would I not know I went from Wooly Mammoth to whatever? 🙂

Haha! Neither of you really knew that was going to factor in, or at least I think not on Jojo's part. It was going to be close. I really thought dy was gonna get it since she is always a great end game wolf catcher. Goes to show ya never know in WW.

Item is mystery box: a box with 4 buttons, which will you pick?

1) button brings the presser good luck : for the next 3 nights you are guaranteed a good item (binoculars, fire, or portable church)
2) one button let's the presser block someone
3) one button block's the pressers action
4) one button shocks the user and makes them bite their tongue, making all posts and pm's be devoid of vowels. T's nt tht hrd t rd wht thy wrt.
