Hello guys. I am starting Endodontic residency 2 year Certificate program next year and I was wandering if we can apply for federal aid/FASFA to pay for the residency?
The program is fairly new and my financial admin has not had much experience with it. I truly appreciate your help. Thank you!

Yeah, they should offer financial aid for the residency. You just have to apply for it like you did for undergrad and dental school. https://studentaid.gov/

That’s what I thought but the admin was telling me that Certificate residency programs don’t hand out a degree at the end unlike Masters residency program, and therefore do not qualify for federal aid. It did not make much sense to me.

Yeah, that doesn't sound right at all. But I've been known to be wrong before.
