I am there now as a resident.. ummm too much!!!!.. It is around 50K as a non resident, (I should know this lol) it went up for next year actually. I spent 116,000 for the 2021-2022 year

Can anyone translate the following on the tufts page?

• Official transcripts from all post-secondary education completed prior to enrolling in dental school. Official dental transcripts must be submitted through the ADEA PASS application service. Please upload official copy of undergraduate transcripts to ADEA PASS. PDF scans of the official transcripts may be submitted via email to [email protected]. If the university awarded you a degree, the degree conferral must be included on the transcript;

I thought we cant upload official undergrad transcripts to PASS. Am I just uploading my official transcript to "unofficial undergraduate transcript" section? And also emailing my copy of the official undergrad transcript to that email?

I found this on ADEA PASS Help Center: Submitting and Completing Your ADEA PASS Application

Before you submit your application, be aware of the following:

• You can make limited changes after you submit your application. You can add new items to certain areas of the Academic History, Supporting Information, and Program Materials sections (e.g., test scores, experiences, optional documents, etc.), where applicable, but you cannot edit existing entries. You can also update evaluations with "new" or "in-progress" statuses and select additional programs to apply to. All other sections are read-only.
• You can submit your application before your transcripts and evaluations are received. Please note, however, that we will not review your application until all of your transcripts, payments, and evaluations are received. See Completing Your ADEA PASS Application for all requirements.
• Do not wait until the last minute. You can submit your application up until 11:59 PM ET on the deadline date; however, ensure you allow for time to complete the required payment section. You must click Submit and complete the final payment information before the deadline in order to guarantee your submission is accepted. Additionally, be aware that during our busiest times you may experience page loading delays, and these may occur outside of customer service's hours of operation. Key takeaway for me: you can add new items but not edit old ones, once you hit submit.

I think it’s one of those where it’s better to have one from an endodontist but they will still accept one from a GP or other specialist.

I think it is better to have a strong letter from a non-endodontist than a weak letter from an endodontist.

Go to apply now on the NOVA website- choose GRADUATE option; select STANDARD APPLICATION. After you have filled that you can send your documents and your recommenders can send their documents to [email protected].

Yes it should come directly from the evaluator - should be on a letter head with a wet signature and dated.

I am taking the ADAT Tuesday (5-24). Website says 3-4 weeks for results. Only one school I’m applying to requires it, but I am going to submit my application prior to getting the results. That school’s app deadline is July 15, so that should give plenty of time for results before the deadline (even if it isn’t ideal).

I think that’s just so you can get a test date in your location. It was difficult for my application to get approved (I’m not the only one who had this issue) because of the ADA cyberattack. Website says 1-3 business days. It took about 10 days for me and 2 and a half weeks for one of my friends to get approved, and we applied on the same day. Once approved both of us were able to sign up for a test date on the Pearson website. There were very few test dates available in most testing centers within driving distance of my location that would still allow me to have my app in on time. I’m driving 2.5 hours to take my test even though there are 2 test centers in my town. I would go ahead and apply. I actually got someone on the phone from the ADA the other day, and they said they are close to resolving the issue, so you may not have any trouble. I actually called them about NBDE scores because I put in a request, and it took forever for them to send them to me and to PASS.

How many days is it between your application to ADAT and your test date? Is it more than 60 days?

4/29 application date. I chose to take the test 5/24 so I’d have about 4 weeks to study. Again, not ideal but there were even earlier dates available.
