As far as DC, GW has nicer facilities and seemd more chill, while Georgetown seemed more academic (but that was 4 years ago, so it may have changed). Georgetown has a storied history but seemed to have fallen on hard times, while GWU was an up and comer but had had poor board pass rates back in the 1990's-early 2000's (now seems resolved).
Agree with the fact if it's for medicine and you are thinking of fellowship, think where you might want to stay and/or do fellowship. Also pick a residency with strong reputation in any subspecialty area(s) you are interested in. For example, Emory and WashU are both known for having strong cardiovascular divisions.
