“The genny side” means the coalition of genny and chilbo. I initially was voting genny then sheeped her to chilbo.

I don’t really get why it’s concerning to not want something to end in a tie but also not want to move your vote unless absolutely necessary at the last minute and thus try to get others to move, but okay you do you

Yeah because I was playing a board game and missed deadline to check back in. I’m not gonna demand group activities stop so I can camp a WW thread at EOD.

It wouldn't be concerning if it were true, I'm just questioning whether you actually cared about the tie vs just wanted to look like you did.

"The genny side" is just a weird way to phrase it if you really wanted people to move to Chillbo :shrug:

Are you trying to get someone to fess up to seering or tracking you? If so, why would they do that this early? Did you get a night result indicating you were seered or tracked, or are you just hoping that someone did?

why? I thought you wanted Chillbo as mayor to try it out because he's new to you?

I'm also realizing you were here five minutes before close. You were concerned about the tie before that. If you knew you were about to go afk, wouldn't 5 minutes before close be the time to change your vote? it doesn't really add up for me

The reason I tell people to elect people that they can read is because mayors can gain any type of ability. This include abilities like being unseerable or untrackable. Never use an investigative PR on a mayor.

I see. I didn't know that (trying to elect someone you can read - is this a "universally" held opinion?) was a thing. Makes me question electing you a bit just because I have a hard time reading you. Not that it matters anymore, just something for me to consider in the future. Also makes me wonder why folks wanted to elect Chillbo if he was new to a lot of people.

This is probably a stretch, but I also wonder if you are saying this to try to dissuade someone from investigating you. I imagine what you're saying is known among experienced players, but it does make me think.

This is probably a stretch, but I also wonder if you are saying this to try to dissuade someone from investigating you. I imagine what you're saying is known among experienced players, but it does make me think.

Of course I don't expect someone to put themselves, but it's basic strategy to seer/track people in positions of authority early on. And I did not get anything indicating I was the recipient of such a thing.

Disagree. I haven't played since like, 2019? And even then I played pretty sparsely.

If it was years ago...no, sorry, I don't. I really don't think that's unreasonable. I don't even know how you remember that unless you looked up what the last game was that we played together. Anyway, I'm really not trying to argue with you at all. I believe what you said. I just had a thought and I shared it.

No, our last game was more recent than that. I just remember clearly because people said they were electing me solely because I'd be seered and cleared (or condemned). Guess what? Untargettable. Village lost even though I was village and had the correct POE due to the ongoing paranoia.

I try to avoid repeating that wherever I can.
 
This next one was a game you didn't play on but I watched people elect MJ because he'd never been mayor before. He was a wolf and gained an item that would nullify an alpha. After doing the other sin of trying to yeet said alpha multiple times. Village lost.

I simply can't take meme/seer nominations seriously anymore. I only ever lose when those happen.
 
And of course, we've have mayors get misyeeted because people realized a seer didn't even exist and they couldn't read the mayor by D3.

Obviously wolves want this to happen.

Just want to reiterate that I believe you. I looked back just out of my own curiosity and the last game I played up until Anonymouse was stranger things in summer 2020. That was 3 years ago. I couldn't find a game that had a mayoral election (old posts on my profile go back to sometime in 2020 - I guess I'd have to search the forum for older ones?) but yeah - it was years ago. I don't remember anything about anything in my daily life lol.

I have only read pieces here and there during calendar yesterday. I am blazing around and have to run again shortly.

The vote is based on PSV’s wolf tell which has also applied to others in the past and only that rn.
