I see I am suddenly leading the customary late day pile on. As I said earlier, I am out with my mom at a restaurant an hour away from home, and I am not going to defend on my phone during dinner. Look elsewhere. Seriously.

:eyebrow: This was far from a late day pile on. There's still over 2 hours remaining. And being busy/not wanting to defend doesn't mean you aren't a wolf.

Do we really have to do this every time someone is suspicious? Same thing as every game, give me something that makes me think you're villager. All I know about you is you asked mods a question via an item, big woop. Otherwise, your posting doesn't lead me to think village.

and she thought that she wasn't asking the mods, but she was asking the dead. i feel like that would alter what question would be asked, wouldn't it? because sometimes the dead don't even know how many non-villagers there are. pretty much only the mods know that info. so something's off to me.

The things is, I don't know what you're even looking for. I don't expect the item to clear me. I didn't even know anyone else (other than my dead theory) heard the question until today.

It's just feels like every game goes down like this. My posts are read as sketchy but I'm never given a reason as why they're perceived that way. Not surprisingly, I end up lynched.
 
Not sure what to make of the Trilt situation, I'm getting a little confused trying to keep track of all these items. Maybe she's chaos, but Sarabi's not a very "chaotic" character, so could just be a villager with a slightly sketchy role. Regardless, for now I'd rather focus on looking for original wolves. I'm honestly not sure why I'm still alive either, but maybe the wolves are focusing on getting rid of confirmed power roles since several people still think I'm sketchy. I'd like to hear more from Pippy, AM and Jil, but for now gotta go with who's highest on my sketch list.

This happens to most players. That's what "feels" are.

Sorry, that was unclear, I just meant I'd like to hear more of her thoughts on things today, not that I think she's sketchy.

Also as far as I've seen all your recent votes are pretty much just popping in to say you'd like to hear more from X, some quick speculation, and then agreeing with the general consensus (much like the previous complaints against me)

Sorry. Like I said yesterday I've just got a lot on my plate and finals coming up, so I'm in a weird place mentally. I know that doesn't mean I'm not a wolf, but my heart's just not in the game right now.

But you're not implying the remaining players should role reveal, are you? I feel like I've been actively contributing and wolf hunting. Everything that's on this thread is what I've got going for me. I don't know what else to say.

Grump grump. I'm conflicted over all this. Whatever happened last night and writeup weirdness is still bugging me and I definitely don't want that to be forgotten (village forgetfulness tends to happen). Also side eyeing the quick jumps off of her right after day opened, without anyone questioning what was going on with the writeup first. I get that trilt's got her definitely village character and probably village ability but...
I know, I know, I'm tunneling. Cthulhu all over again, right? I'll look elsewhere since that doesn't seem like it's going anywhere tonight.

If we're looking at people we have no real info on I'm going to do some rereading on AM.
 
If y'all really wanna crack an egg, go ahead. I've kind of outlived my usefulness. But it's somewhat late in the game for only having caught 1 wolf, and I'm wary of how accurate this "process of elimination" stuff really is. A lot of us have outed, me included, and if you don't want to believe my claim that's fine because it's a generic animal and it's not like I can prove it. But beyond the people like AM/pippy who we don't know roles and have a lot of shade on them now as a result, I'm paranoid that I/we are getting played by someone with a "known" role, because the numbers don't add up. I feel like a fool for even thinking it because not a whole lot in her posts screams super sus to me, but now I'm wondering about WZ (unless I completely forgot something)
 
Won't be here at close so if there's anything anyone wants to say to sway my vote best do it in the next 30 minutes. I'm going to visit my grandma in the hospital then going to dinner.

I've been thinking about WZ too but unless some weirdness with cheat too, I've kind of dropped her lower on my list. Perhaps that is a mistake though?
 
@DVMDream what are your thoughts on cover roles now that most people have outed their role name and we know there are 4 non-villager roles in the game

trying to do a full re-read but I don't think I'll finish anytime soon so I will try to make an initial decision soon for lynch

Game like this I would almost be surprised if there weren't cover roles. I mean, come on, wolf roles are super obvious. Scar and the hyenas +/- Zira. Wolves would have to be extremely lucky to come up with roles they could hide behind. Unless everyone we don't have a role name for yet is gonna claim a random animal.

I actually looked back at that game a few days ago when I was hunting down MJ posts, came across the second mayor election and SOV warning people not to vote for me because I was a good conversion target and rarely lynched. Poor guy was right on the money lol

seems helpful, almost too much. Comment about the outlands during the what could be neutral/chaos discussion is curious. A lot of role fishing whether unintentional or not

Cover roles for every single wolf is very odd. Especially given we've already had one named hyena wolf. So if there are any cover roles, I'd only expect one wolf to have a cover role. I do feel everyone else will have a named role that is wolfy. But that's just me based on what we know so far and what would work best for balancing.

I have played a game where I was a wolf and every wolf was given an unofficial cover role to use (unofficial in that we could claim it but wouldn't affect seering and it did not show up with our death writeups). I have also modded a game with an almost identical mechanic in place. It makes sense to me in a game where if we all just posted our role names on the thread wolves would be super obvious without cover.

I dunno if she ever really had the chance to claim a cover though, since she got outed by seer so early. Without pressure,wouldn't have had reason to claim/reveal any role info on day 1/2.
 
I have to start getting ready to leave home and my drive will definitely get me there past deadline. As much as I'm hedging about it (especially given your past few replies, man you're a good sneaky wolf if true), I don't want to just tie things up on Pippy (still ehh on her, got nothing besides lukewarm feels and no info), so unless I'm able to get on again before leaving I'll go with my gut and

Honestly it's a combination of lack of info on you, unwillingness to share information that would help the village in wolf hunting, pushing lynches that now feel weird in retrospect, and passive aggressive posts like these.

For what it's worth I was looking through my role PM with SAR and had actually mentioned to her that you were weirding me out on like D2, but I wasn't sure if it was just because you were busy and couldn't post much so I didn't pursue it then.

I'm leaving this on thread because basically role names aren't gonna help at this point considering we know enough people and assuming wolves have evil names.

There are 12 of us left:

Considering the young/old theme for certain characters -

Now, Nuka doesn't have to be village or in this game. Assuming village because there are more evil roles and I'm village. Also, young Simba doesn't have to be in this game (but assuming because there was young/old nala, kiara, and kovu) So, that gets us to 16 names and 12 of us. 4 non-villagers, I would assume cover roles. If it's just Simba and no Nuka, then we are still at 14 names and 12 of us. Even with no Zira, which would seem weird to me, we've got 13 names and 12 people.
