explain his meta to me?
He definitely makes weirdly wolfy jokes as a villager and that sometimes stirs up paranoia about him. He's pretty good at clearing himself when he's village and in hot water though.
As a wolf he tries to mimic his village chumminess/joke style but it comes off forced. Village!true tends to be pretty paranoid and wolf!true isn't great at imitating that.
There's another thing wolf!true does but I'm going to keep quiet on it for now.

I'd be interested to hear from the locals about samac. I've already given them the town stamp. How do you feel?

She hasn't played in a while but imo she's quite good at imitating her village tone when wolfing
If true is a wolf she becomes insta-village though. She's VERY good at catching young wolves early on seemingly irrelevant things. Like, extremely good.
(I would say noob wolf but at this point True has randed scum pretty often. He's more like a yearling than a true baby.)

I think the first line is a joke. The second line is wowee since April is at best neutral for me.
not a joke - the immediate paranoia of the two strangers playing the game differently struck me as a villa thought

is there a strong difference between neutral and maybe a slight shade above neutral?

I disagree that it's nitpicky and also think it's weird to say "feels strange but eh, maybe fine". Why bring it up in the first place?
...because i was asked about it?

Lmao he has feigned this before as a wolf.
that specific thing, about not knowing why others wolfread him? because i understand the benefits to feigning naivete about certain things but for a self-meta statement what would be completely null regardless, i don't see why he doesn't just tell the truth

Yes, that specific thing

so you believe he's come off as forced this game, then?

Didn't get better vibes about True in reading the past page or two. I'm waiting to see what interactions arise when the rest of the players show up

Not exactly forced. But the references to me coming around, him asking "you powerwolfing?", and other comments are making me super uneasy about him.

I appreciate that April said she'd participate sparsely, but has still managed to be one of the game's more active contributors so far. She's not hiding behind any slank cover.
Aka I'm slacking off in immunology lectures 😂 My activity might decrease unexpectedly once labs start up

I appreciate the recognition lol

Aw I just realized I actually haven't played with True in a while since I modded two games ago and he modded last game.
RIP that we're maybe star-crossed this game

I like what I see, and LockV in W!True worlds. But I dont like preflipping so early.

But I got similar vibes as to samac's entrance from psv. Like, they came to hunt and the vibes in thread feel good? Idk how to express it well rn

But also I had a strong Villa read in psv in D1 our last game , and well... It didnt end well. So jury is still out

do you think he'd contrive the lack of understanding for this game? i get that you find it unnatural, but what's in it for him to to...feign not knowing why he gets wolf read on tone?
This question is pingy to me, but I think PSV has already covered most of it. Is feigning ignorance of silly stuff not a thing that happens on other sites? Because the question puts a pairing check mark in my book.

Has he asked you to renew your lease on his pocket yet? That would be a big red flag for me

Munching more on this... I feel like last game at the end I could cach W!psv cuz they hunting intention was like, the least in the thread? So yeh I think if they keep up like this im comfy V reading them

Yes. PSV seems ready to take care of business. At first I typed that as "cake tare of business". Apparently I want cake with my mini wheats.

I feel good about these four. Perhaps the samac read is "premature", and I'll see how that develops. But their entrance really hit the right chords for me. If these are correct and we're not super scared of the Big Bad Bear (me), two more correct town reads solve the game. That may sound incredibly arrogant, so please understand that I am always open to contrary views. If anyone feels these names are distinctly not town, let's talk.

I really like the vibe of the game so far. I'm having fun, and it feels like town is in a good place.

Someone asked about Samac meta somewhere. My two cents: she tends to spew herself village fairly easily and early, so I find myself trusting her when I can get an early read.
furiously enthusiastic nodding

Looking forward to hearing what you think when you get to it.

Also hi, I did work type things this morning so it's werewolf time. Catching up, but I'll keep a tab open for real time too.

generally speaking i don't anticipate wolves feigning ignorance of things that are inconsequential, no - because there's no useful reason to lie about that stuff. wolves feign ignorance when it has some form of tactical benefit to them and i don't see that here. my point sort of being that truenamer's statement of not knowing why he gets wolfread is likely true regardless of his alignment.

i don't even think it's a super consequential thing to be discussing but figured i'd pull at the metaphorical thread to see what april would say about it

This is talking about my post right?

Can you relook at how I interacted with your slot and elaborate if you think its an accurate description?

*Slowly bookmarks it*
Nah, I was talking about April in that post, not you.

Empire they're onto us, we should fake a fight. Maybe we can have sporty join in when she can post. This is a joke, not a rojo

By way of introduction, I've been playing ww for about 3 years now, but only a handful of forum games (my homesite plays in threaded comments, which is pretty similar to forum overall, but more conversational). I've played one game with JJJ (he was a wolf), one sort-of game with AM (it was a hydra and she/shorty were a wolf), and spectated some Santy and Clem games.

One thing I do is voting spreadsheets, but that'll be more relevant later.

I’d be interested in @Empire’s takes beyond Truenamer.
you'll get them when i have them - these days i'm perfectly content to hang back until i find something that is worth poking at

the vote on Nate was for slightly pingy RVS things that may or may not actually be indicative of something, we'll see now that he's here and posting. no one else had done anything that stuck me as vote-worthy in the meantime
