I have not been accepted to Albany but made the cut to be on the alternate list. I have been accepted to Toledo. I am posting now because I know I will not have very much time to make a decision if I am accepted to Albany.
The location of Albany seems better for my family as it would be closer to my parents and parents in-law (my parents in-law moved from Albania to the US primarily to be close to us). I feel like the area might be nicer in Albany, but not totally sure about that either. As far as academics, I feel for some reason that Albany is a bigger name, but Toledo is a better program. Any insights will be greatly appreciated!!!

I would take the sure thing at toledo, That way you could settle down and prepare to the school year. They are both good schools, but I do believe that toledo may have a slight edge. Also, My guess is albany will not move too much more
