I don't understand the logic behind rushing people to submit their medical forms in such a rigid, short deadline.

I understand if it was drug testing but it's not even included in these forms.

I agree. It's a little pushy and, quite frankly, makes me a little angry. I already forked over 2 grand, now they're really rushing something along that doesn't seem like it should need to be quite so rushed. Like you said the drug testing isn't even included yet and that's the only time-sensitive aspect I could think of.

I would change the flight if I were you. Given the crazy weather we've been experiencing, they may start the interview later than scheduled. Also, my interview ran over by an entire hour.

Keep in mind that it will take you around half an hour to an hour, depending on traffic, to get to LGA.

Question for anyone accepted: I know that the return date for medical forms is February 28, but does anyone else think that is not possible? To get all of the titers finished in 2 weeks and have them sent?

I'm not sure. I was accepted in November and just received the medical forms a week ago. I'm sure they are staggering when they send them out.

I may end up withdrawing the interview invite. Keep going back and forth.

It's late, the trip will be expensive and I doubt there's a noticeable advantage in going to one do school over another. Decisions..

No. M60 takes 40 min on a good day and that's if you catch it on time.

They didn't deposit it until the due date. They did send an email when it was received though.

Yeah, 1/27! I talked to Sean and he said he'd send me a form to fill out and they'd review it and either accept or reject my appeal. Did you get accepted/did you decide to go here?

I was accepted to middletown haha.

I would say one to two weeks. I don't remember exactly when I sent in the check, but I know they sent a confirmation saying they received it. Then on the due date of the deposit they sent an email that they charged my account.

When my parents come into town, I usually find them a nice apt on airbnb. It works well form them since they like to cook, etc.

ACCEPTED!! Go the email about 20 min ago. Interviewed Feb. 10th. Put down Harlem as my only choice (Middletown campus wasn't too pleasing). Probably withdrawing though, as I'm hoping to hear back from Rowan today! Good luck to my fellow 2/10 interviewees and the others!!

I was complete 12/6. I got a 28 on the MCAT with a 12 in verbal and a 7 in physical. 3.83 science gpa. 3.3 cumulative with terrible grades from a decade ago in music school. I'm 31 so I'm a nontrad... I'm a NY local and I attended a CUNY college. I'm pretty sure that covers the bases. Feel free to ask me anything.
