I dunno...I called Sean last Thursday to see if we will get the result before the holiday and he said yes. Unfortunately, the phone got disconnected before I hear when we will get the result and I didn't bother calling back lol!

This is just my opinion, but I wouldn't consider reading the Post as doing one's "research." It's widely perceived as a sensationalist and inflammatory publication.
By no means am I saying Mr Cammarata is a saint, but let's give him a fair shake by not ctrl + v-ing links as if that act alone gives veracity to your claim. I would instead encourage fellow readers to conduct their own comprehensive research.

I'm getting very anxious and checking my email every hour. Has anyone heard yet?
It's almost 6pm NYC time...I doubt it will be today. Unless they only send emails to the accepted applicants =(

From what Sean told me, we should get the decisions tomorrow by email. He said the faculty goes on a long vacation so he was going to try to get their decision and send them out by Tuesday (before the holidays).

Not sure why they didn't send them out today. Ms. Hunter told me that the committee was meeting today and that they will send the emails out today as well. I'm assuming they didn't have time to send them out.

The wait is torturous
Quick questions before my interview next month:
1. I put no preference for either campus when I first submitted my application because I didn't know where exactly the Middletown is. Can I ask them to change my preference to Harlem if I do get accepted since I would prefer to live in urban area?
2. When does the interview end for the morning session (7:45am)? My flight back is at 4:45pm at JFK so should I change it?
3. Was the interview open file or closed file for you guys?

1. I'm already forgetting but I think they gave us a form at the interview to fill out again. It would be unfair not to, since at the interview they show that video of the Middletown campus and answer questions.
2. I was a morning interview and we still didn't get out until 4:30... it takes a good 1.5 hrs to get to JFK from Harlem by subway and you want to get there at least an hour before your flight, so I would try to push it back if you can afford it.

looks like we have to wait till after the holiday.... bah humbug
That's annoying, I have been checking my e-mail more frequently than I would like to admit. :/
1. We were given a form at the interview, which is your final decision on your preference.
2. I was in the afternoon session, but I saw a few of the morning kids leaving at around 2:00-2:30 IIRC (I chatted with one of them while I was sitting around waiting for the other students to interview).
3. It was open file, but I'm not too sure if they were read beforehand. As a result, you can really steer the interview.
I called Ms. Hunter this morning once again. She told me the committee did not finish reviewing applications yesterday and so they were meeting today again at 10 AM to finish looking through the applications. From what I understood, we were supposed to get the decisions today. However, since we did not, I think the committee did not finish going through all of the December interview dates just yet.

Touro College does not celebrate Christmas but the building is closed on Christmas. Will decisions be available on Thursday the day after Christmas?

I doubt Touro would be any farther along the day after Christmas than even a non-Jewish institution... it is still a federal holiday and I would imagine some faculty will be on vacation.

1. You cannot decide after you are accepted because they only accept you to one of campuses, but as the others said you can change your preference at the interview.
2. My early morning session ended around 2-2:30, I believe, but that included the student-led tour and some lunch after. They stressed that you could leave early if you needed to catch a flight, so I wouldn't worry about it, especially if you're going to hop in a cab directly after the interview. Some interviewees brought suitcases with them on my interview day, it's not a big deal.
3. I believe they are all open file. My interviewers asked some pretty specific application-based questions, so I would definitely give your app a once over before your interview, just so you're not caught off guard.

Well its officially past 5-30p so I guess those who havnt heard will have to wait until tomorrow. I called Sean around 5-15p and he said if you do not get an email by the end of the day (today) then they will be sent out tomorrow. He also said the office closes at 2pm tomorrow; we will have to wait and see I suppose. I just hope there isn't a "bad" reason as to why we havn't gotten emails, ie: rejections =X
