Thanks for all the congrats guys. I've been on cloud 9 ever since I got the email! I took some time to de-stress, relax, eat some good food, drink some good beer, and soak it all in. I have given up my hopes for being Tucson-bound at this point, but I still haven't given up on Phoenix... yet.

We'll see what the post May 15th movement brings next week... Good luck to everyone out there biting their nails and/or pulling their #$*ing hair out waiting like I was. Seriously.

lol you crack me up hereIcome. so they are less than 10 away from my number and my current roommate is really wanting me to sign a lease here in Tucson for next year at an apartment we really like..should I do it since I will be forced out of my current place June 1st? or not be a risk taker and wait until they get to Sarahw13 lol (she is right before me). I would hate to sign a lease and then be going to Phoenix since the WL stopped before my number...but if I sign a lease soon I can move right out of my current place into the new one right away.......here is to major movement this week!

Personally I'd sign the lease, but if you can wait until the end of the week it might be safer. If you HAVE to do it right now, then I'd check to see if you could get out of the lease later if you find another tenant to take your place. It really should happen soon for you though...

haha all of our "wonderful personalities" are going to make for an interesting class I bet. Nonlocality- I am assuming you received your call already...are you relieved there is no more waiting?!

Here is an updated plot, with an adjusted "Likely Landing Zone".

Moving nine waitlist seats in last five days has been breath taking. We are soon to be moving into the forties and on to the second batch of beautiful people.

Analysis-
At our low point we were about 10 seats away from the 2008 trendline now we are only about 5. It seems like there was a lot of pent up decisions that waited till the may 15th deadline.

I think these numbers are more in line with the way this season started out.

Estimate-
I am guessing a final mid-june waitlist number of between 47-53. The next week will be really telling, if we can hold on to this momentum.
