This is my second time applying and got an interview! Mine is at 2:40!! Is anyone else so nervous they feel like vomiting?!
I was so nervous for my interview at Michigan and Illinois. Florida, not so much, because it was open file and I felt like I knew what to expect from that.Hi all! (fun story: I was in at least two of your rotations)
NopeJesus. Now I look like an idiot. Granted, there were like 8 people who I had like 6 rotations with. So that may narrow it down some.
I have a guess though. Do you wear a grey sweatshirt with an ink painted horse on it?
Nope
Maybe call Monday if you don't hear tomorrow?Anyone not hear from U of I? I think they forgot me![]()
Honestly I'd prefer as early as possible though. Get it done and over with so my anxiety isn't building up all day.
Anyone else going without parentals??

That shouldn't be an issue at all! I would just make sure you put it on the floor during your interview in case you might fiddle with it subconsciously.Mines at 1:50 and I'm going by myself🤢 weird question but its okay to have a purse with you right??
Meant to throw my hat into the ring to help with interview day, but I forgot to respond to our email in timea lot of my friends will be interviewing you guys, though!
Lol I don't want to go outside in the cold 😀You can still volunteer to give tours if you want 😉 I know you didn't respond to that email either. Lol

It's so weird that I'll be a fourth year by the time you guys arrive to campus. Seriously, where did the time go (not that I'm complaining)
Not gonna tell which rotations, but I'll tell you that the girl with the aforementioned sweatshirt WAS in one of the rotations with us. Possibly both. 😉Dam. Want to tell which rotations?
Last year was wonderful. No snow, nothing.Last year was flat balmy compared to the year I interviewed. I was vaguely jealous.
I actually ate **** in the parking lot the morning of your interview day. I remember thinking "Today should be the one day they make sure the parking lot and sidewalks are well salted" and then I wiped outLast year was flat balmy compared to the year I interviewed. I was vaguely jealous.

How is everyone preparing??? I'm so nervous! This is only my second interview ever for vet med but my first at U of I. Any tips or hints at what type of questions they ask??
Is everyone aware that there's an entire page for the interview day that will answer a lot of your questions? Nah it’s linked in the interview time email as well as the interview offer emailIs everyone aware that there's an entire page for the interview day that will answer a lot of your questions? I feel like any emails you have gotten would have provided that link but maybe they didn't?
Basically just practice your speaking, that's the best advice I can give! The website gives you all the hints you need, really.

I totally have read this, but I am just so nervous and freaked out and feel like no amount of information I read is enough! 🙁
Hey! I'd suggest just think through your experiences and what brought you here... have someone ask you random questions and answer them! Honestly, preparing just to talk about yourself is the most valuable thing I did to prepare, but I can only speak for myself. Just remember to breathe, do your power stance before you go in, and remember - they WANT you to be awesome... 😉How is everyone preparing??? I'm so nervous! Last year, they told us two weeks... but it took like four or more, if I remember correctly.Does anyone know about how long after the interview they get back to you?
It was all questions about me last year. Behavioral-type questions.are the interview questions sort of formally and informally categorized? like veterinary related questions and then questions about you?
