Hi there! I just graduated undergrad and am working on my vet school applications but have a few questions... hopefully some of you can help!
1) For the app, how far back do you include experience/awards/jobs etc? Do I include things from high school (awards, volunteering, jobs, etc)?
2) Also for the app, do you include the hours of experience that you will have even after the application is due? I didn't think so but I spoke with a current CSU vet student and she said "The application only asks for the number of hours completed, so I estimated how much I would have done by the time of matriculation into the fall semester." I will be working full time as a vet assitant during my gap year so I'm not sure what to do.
3) Has anyone fulfilled the microbiology w/lab requirement with an online class? That is the only pre-req I have left to do but would prefer it to be online since I will be working. I have seen some talk of the UCSD extension program, but I'm not sure if you need pre-reqs for that, if vet schools accept that, or what the process is generally. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
4) I've seen a couple lists on here, but generally, what are the schools to apply to with the best chance of getting in OOS?
