IS acceptance!! I got the call while I was working, so I couldn't pick up. Dr. Talcott said my name twice in the voicemail, but I don't think it'll really hit me till I step into my first class at WSU. Congrats to the other future cougs, super excited to meet you all!
As for those waiting with anxious thoughts, I hope you hear some good news. If not, there is always next year. And I know, I know--easy for me to say when I got an acceptance. However, I will say that I nearly cried after my interview because I thought it had gone SO horribly and spent the subsequent few days in a funk. Finally, I realized that I was lucky enough to have a vet assistant job with coworkers that I love, so I am in a position to learn all that I can before reapplying as a better version of myself next cycle. I hope that eventually helps shift some of your mind frames from beating yourself up to helping yourself grow (but by all means, take that requisite time to wallow and process before moving on).
PM me if I can support you in any way at all. Emotional support, advice, friendly banter? You got it, dude.
