It could, but our protector is dead and from what I can tell the saran wrap was a one time use item, as it was never mentioned before or since and no one else has possessed it that I know of (all of the items thusfar in the game move from person to person each night). There is both a blocking character and an oven though, so we've got a 50/50 shot of being right about this. Bluesails was blocked last night and no one died, so that's where I'm leaning for the moment.
 
I had Saran Wrap a couple of nights ago but it I lost it the next night.

I haven't read through all posts yet but let me try to help out quickly before I have to head out again.

VetAshley gifted me her ability to ask a question to the mods. I asked The mods how many wolves were currently in the game (before we lynched WZ) - there were 4, so now there are 3 unless/until there's a conversion.

She also claimed to protect me one night when she had the Saran Wrap and I was later told I had been protected.

As for the not waffling til late yesterday I can confirm in our group Pm she hadn't seen the posts about WZ being seered and didn't understand why people were jumping all over WZ.

All these things put her in the clear. I'm leaving now. Will try to get back on ASAPASAP
 
I guess we could be off then. But we've been suspicious of BS for a while, so it's just one more thing in the "possible wolf" column.
 
I had the saran wrap a few nights ago so it's out there somewhere. I don't think vet Ashley is a wolf. It is super non wolf behavior for a wolf to stick with a different lynch even after there has been a seered wolf. That's what happened last game with crystal and I've learned my lesson from that 🙁

The continued existence of the Saran Wrap item makes me nervous we are howling up the wrong tree.

BS needs to speak up!

I'm gonna wait until then.
 
I like how before it was all "but their target could have been saran wrapped" to "he was blocked he's guilty" 🙄

I'm waiting for Bluesails response prior to officially changing my lynch.

Also, I love how the question was related to how many wolves there are....totally called it, haha.

One last comment....vetash hopping on the first option to lynch that isn't you doesn't help you seem less shady. Especially since you guys were trying to make it seem like MJ was a wolf in sheeps clothing not too long ago and now you're following his hunch. (Not that I don't appreciate you switched your lynch from me 😉)

PS. I think BS is a shady character too so I would have no problem lynching him. I'm just too distracted by vetash's responses to being lynched.
 
I think all the items are redistributed randomly each night. Although I only remember reading about it in a write up once now that I think about it...

There are at least three blocking abilities/items, by the way. One item, one role ability, and one that could be role or item.
And I am delicious as always.

But it sounds like gella got the response directly from devyn, right gella? So at least vetashley's role is true. Unless, of course, gella was lying, but that would be a bad wolf move. I am delicious.

One could say it's also noob wolf behavior to wait too long to lynch a fellow wolf despite evidence. This is her first game and that lynch played out quickly.

I don't know what to think. I've been suspicious of vetashley for longer than just since yesterday, but since several people are sticking up for her perhaps I was wrong. It is interesting that bluesails was blocked and we didn't have a kill, but it could have failed from protection of the wolfs target. I want to hear what bluesails has to say, then I may change my lynch vote. This is making my head hurt, lol.

Also, jayna, I agree that it could be a newb move. And I still don't completely trust gella so I'm not buying the vouch completely. Jayna' the only person I 100% trust at the moment. I'm suspicious of BS every game so I never know if I'm crazy or not haha

It would be a very foolish move to lie about mods providing information about the number of wolves if one were a wolf player. Basically would confirm both VA and GB were wolves if one came up positive as being a wolf. Whoever has the spoon tonight, I'd test one of the two. I'm suspicious of VA, but with GB backing her up like this, I'm going to continue leaning more toward BS because I can't imagine the wolves being that nooby.

It was Night 4, which is not unreasonable for a first conversion. I'm worried about that. I am delicious and worried. But for now I'm going to focus on who I think the original wolves could be, and worry about the converted ones later.

It would be a huge newb move, but it's possible. BB has also been vouching for vetashley, I think. I doubt vetashley would get that much support if she's a wolf, but there's also a chance that BB and gella are villagers basing their trust on knowing vetashley's ability is real. Wolves can have abilities too. I am delicious.
For now, I think I'm going to not vote for vetashley because I agree with MJ, that is a huge noob move. Gella and BB, can you clarify if you trust her based on anything more than the proof of her ability?
 
I received the I for about the wolves directly from the mod. Still can't really talk and haven't read through today's posts
 
Vetashley, is it possible to use your ability like a seer power? Like can someone ask if BLANK is a wolf?
 
That's a pity. That would have been awesome! I feel like the best way to deal with this is have VA give her gift tonight to someone the group trusts. That'll clear up a few people in my book. BS is always on my radar but she never really posts a lot so idk if her not responding is suspicious or not. I'll hold off on my lynch vote for now.

FYI: Mod was out drinking whiskey last night and did not distribute said items... so no one had items last night.....

Also as a rule of thumb since we are on the topic, you always lose an item after the night you use it.... I don't like sending out item loss PMs
 
I guess the mod message rules out this having been a block by the oven item and a protection by the saran wrap. To me that suggests the blocking of BS was from someone's role and likely did indeed stop the kill.

I can check out the ability if you all want, and I do have a question I want to ask with it. But I already trust her ability because it would be a risky lie for gella to confirm it. My question about vetash is mainly whether a wolf might have that ability.

Ack, I have an exam to take today and may be getting a cat today, so I will try to check in more but will be off and on I think. You will have to do without my deliciousness for a while.

For now, lynch bluesails. Mostly based on odd behavior. My list has big question marks next to BS and two others, but I think BS is the most suspicious. I don't completely believe that BS being blocked means much, but it would be an odd coincidence.

And, now that I saw devyn's post, yeah that makes bluesails likely a 50/50 choice as a wolf. If only two at most were blocked last night, then hopefully one of them is a wolf, and hopefully it's bluesails. Still could be a conversion, but this plus BS's weird behavior makes me want to lynch them.

I still feel sketched out by a lot of things vetash and BB said but I am willing to defer until tomorrow while we check her ability. After tonight she will have used it up, right? And I do have some feels on BS, made stronger by the block. She said in group PM she doesn't have an ability so we won't lose that.
 
The ONLY reason I would waffle right now is if the group wants to wait one more night to seer BS, if only to change what someone above thinks is about a 50/50 chance to 100%. Pending that, my vote stays.
 
WL was the one who said it was 50/50. I couldn't find it but remembered reading it!
 
I personally trust VetAshley. She has been honest about things in PMs that have later been confirmed by Devyn.

It seems likely that the block last night might have stopped a wolf-related kill so for now ****lynch BS****
