In case I die tonight I wanted to get all my thoughts out there (well the light at the end of the tunnel is that you won't have to see nearly as much of my annoying posts after tonight since I won't really be around either way). I've entrusted Orca with sensitive information that I don't want to have out just in case I'm not killed. She can divulge after I die. She knows my role and some other stuffs.
Both PP and SOV are strongly strongly suspicious to me right now. Why? because they're pulling the classic wolf move of NOT addressing any of the major points I think they would have addressed if they were actually innocent. Like when someone makes and accusation or comes up with reasoning that they think is sound for lynching, if you're innocent you would pick up on it and vehemently defend. Or if the reasoning isn't sound, point it out. Or at least deny it even if they can't come up with a good way to prove it. Instead, PP and SOV just let those comments slide and didn't address them.
1.) PP being monopod aka Dufflepuds from Narnia. More roles have come back and they are all from folklore from somewhere around the world it seems like. (some may be made up by DVM I guess ,but either way, not some character from Narnia). I mean something like a gremlin I can buy, but some obscure character from Narnia??? Really??? And yes, squirrels was linked to final fantasy, but it's more like final fantasy has a ton of characters from classical myths (at least from what I can remember from like 15 years ago with FFVII). Plus, squirrels is probably bad bad bad too. Rather than address that, PP just shut down and moseyed on along and threw a fit about how no one's listening to her so she's not even gonna try. Well I was listening... you just weren't talking. You were ignoring what I brought up. And apparently according to wiki, monopods are from some greek myths... but Dufflepuds? Totally just Narnia. No one else has come forward to say that they had book/movie references to their roles.
Also, after she didn't die during the lynch she was all "I told you so!" But told us what??? Totally non-sequitur. I don't get it. Me and a few others have pointed out that being unlynchable doesn't prove anything. *crickets.* And there were quite a few other things that people asked that she never really addressed. It was all "I don't know what you're talking about."
2.) I've said TWICE now how lynching SOV was the only way to see if he's telling the truth (unless we wait 3 more full cycles until the forest comes back). It wasn't even my idea. It was heylodeb's, but I made sure to elaborate a couple times to see if he would respond. Win-win situation because if he's lying, we have us a wolf. If he's not lying (and we don't have any other obvious lynch choices) we will know we can trust him, and no villagers will be killed inadvertently.
I do agree with him that it doesn't make sense to just lynch him every time we're not sure, because each night cycle we will lose people. But when all we have is his words and assurance from others that he's shared his role (doesn't mean that's what he really is), it IS advantageous to know for sure. How many times has he pulled that crap?
Plus how convenient. He has some role that camouflages and can't be investigated for the next 3 nights. In that time he can make up whatever the heck he wants his role to be. A role that can't be lynched or attacked AND can resurrect other players? Really? I find that hard to believe. That's much greedy a role methinks for a villager. I would like to see it in action. A wolf that can resurrect once in the game, and can only be investigated on their day sounds more reasonable. And phoenix... in the forest? I mean, it could be true everything he's saying. But it raises both my eyebrows.
3.) Okay, so now for the super conspiracy theory. This is mostly for amusement. DOn't take it too seriously. When I heard fox creature, the first thing that came to mind was a Kitsune, which is fox in Japanese. They hold tremendous mythological importance in Japanese folklore. In fact, if you google "mythical creature fox" that's the first wiki page that comes up. They go hand in hand with Tankuki. Kitsune generally have this cunning malevolence to them (though in some folklore they can be nice). Kitsune can shapeshift (though usually into a human, but maybe loosely consider that camouflaging?). They also live in the forest. And, what do you know, they can possess people. Maybe that also loosely can be applied to carrying someone's soul? hmmm??? hmmmm?????? hmmmmmmmmm???????? i know i know, that's a stretch. just wanted to put that out there.
Anyhoos minnerbelle, out. I work 7 days a week throughout the summer and commute like over an hour each way, AND all this 4th of july celebration shiz is happening, so whatever happens I promise I'll be out of y'all's hair after this outrageously long post. Last time I did this sort of thing, my intuition was dead wrong, but I'm optimistic that this time I'll have better results 😛.
