No, what she did last game was uber village and changing that behavior is terrible. People are too afraid to move their votes if something better comes up/requires rereading the game and that's why village ends up losing.

I'm confused.. are we disagreeing about this or agreeing that Kota's behavior is off since last game?

This is a fair point, but Kota made it quite far last game which is remarkable considering it was her first game with the big leagues. I would think she would've learned that this isn't always a wise move. Towards the end she was able to provide some solid reads and now I expect nothing less 😛

I just think D1 is hard to get reads, and I don’t want to be the person that says “I have no reads,” so yes I’m basing some stuff off of what others say, but I add my own thoughts to them and rethink it as more posts are made. I don’t want to lynch someone just because it’s D1, I want to actually have a reason. At the moment there are very few reasons for lynching that seem viable when I think through them, so yes I am changing my vote a lot, but we still have hours to go.

Positive - I think positive came off a little strong and very antagonistic of others to start; however, I’ve never played with them so I don’t know how they usually are

I'm disagreeing that vote switching is a "lesson that should be learned from". It's some of the best strategy in the game when backed by a discernible thought process. I don't see a difference in her play thus far.

I've only played one game, so I don't have much to base this from.. But in the noob game I played, I was reading too much into what people were saying early on in the game and I ended up being lead in the wrong direction and trusting people that shouldn't have been trusted. I just trying not to repeat that and not let myself get too influenced by other people (hence why I unlynched coffee)

I just don’t like the tone of their posts, I don’t like yours either but I’ve never played with you before so I don’t know if this is how you usually are. I’ve played with Mel, and it seems like they are acting differently then last time.

I didn't mean to insult you and I apologize for coming off this way. Your more recent posts have made me feel better about you and thats why I didn't put a vote there. I think I'm forgetting what it's like being a true noob and still starting out at this and I give you a lot of credit for not caving in when the pressure is on you.

I think you're misinterpreting what I said. The lesson I was talking about referred to the direct following of others' actions. I agree that vote switching is a good thing when backed by thought, but so far I have disagreed with some of Kota's thoughts behind her votes and so I questioned her. No different than when you question others for every single move they make

I remember you attempting to seer a wolf so I wouldn't discount thinking a lot, manatee. You ended up in the lead because people waited until late in the cycle to vote/discuss causing unintentional sheep bandwagons. I'm happy to see your higher activity, but it's still important to note that the best way to get a read on people is through pressuring and bouncing thoughts off of others. How do you feel about Coffee? now?

Haha I tried to seer the wolf and then it didn't work, so I never actually confirmed it. But you are right that the fact that I tried to seer one means my thoughts weren't totally off that game. Thanks for pointing that out!

I’m working a few days a week, and then I have a 40hr/week position starting in May plus online classes this summer

wow! Starting in May, when my semester is over, I will be taking over for a coworker who will be on maternity leave. In addition to that, I will be doing a paid wildlife rehab internship and I anticipate to be working 5-6 days of the week. I also hope to squeeze in some more large animal vet shadowing and shadowing at other places in general. Because of that, I'm not taking any summer classes.

Maybe I just got a different feel from her having her as a PM partner than you did, but you modded so you were there also. I guess we just had different interpretations. Again, I think I'm being a little hard on the noobs considering most of you probably still think I'm a noob myself. I agree that this is not late game and I have even said that its hard D1 to have thoughts. Although, I think this game is an exception because quite a few people have posted already and given me enough content to form reasoning off of their posts (which I really appreciate). Yes I was pushing her when you posted that but I have since backed off after reading more of her posts.

Other thoughts:
-Paws came out swinging but I don't get wolf vibes from it
-Feeling better about Kota
-Feeling ehh for eriyo but again, this is their second game and I'll give them a little time to warm ups before I really start pushing there
-Feeling okay about pippy and you for now
-Zero thoughts on BC except that I agreed with some of her posts, haven't decided how concerned I should be about lack of bigcats' activity do far, we're still early into D1
-While I am not against putting players on the board D1 with one vote, I feel that there has been sufficient discussion thus far to at least give some light reads. This goes for those who are still on their D1 joke vote as well. Because of this, I hope to hear more thoughts from Ziggy, Dina, wonder, SOV, eriyo, sunbodi, and coffee?
-as always I'd like to hear from those who haven't posted much yet or have yet to check in for now
