WWedding at the End of the WWorld: Game Thread

Yes, please flipping wolf has changed my bread read. I started with bread because of lack of substance, and only stayed there because his vote justification made no sense to me. I need to recheck the timing of it, but from what I remember it was early enough and since he did it as an AM vs pleasey thing (and I don't think AM is wolfing), it makes zero sense as a wolf to have voted how he did. So he's one of my stronger village feels now.

That being said, these posts I quoted above kind of feel icky and like cubs is giving me a pass without me having chimed in yet? Idk I just don't love the feel of these posts, but I might also be overly sketched by it because I just did a skim catch up and have crays quoted post on my mind about cubs not getting pleezit sketch from shorty's post. I felt shorty's post was pretty compelling, I just didn't want to follow a pleasey vote at the time because I wanted to check that game myself first to make sure they were selective quotes. But the tonality differences seemed pretty obvious, so I find it surprising that cubs didn't seem to find it sketchy at all.

Agrees with shortys assessment but doesnt vote there because she wants to "confirm for herself." Actually shades me for neutral/village reading her because I hadnt really given her posts a thorough look. Today she voted me to try to keep the wagons close at 5-3. After two hours went by and there was no movement on me and it was clear the fake claim wasnt working she jumped on the sloth train as 6th vote.

who do you think the last wolf is?

My poe has mel, genny, and barks. Also maybe still cubs. The timing of genny/barks/cubs votes looks good at a glance for sloth, but there was so much shade about her at the end of D1 that I need to review the justifications and any comments they made about sloth before all of the strong arguments got made about her. And yes, I know barks was first on sloth, but I can't remember what her justification was for that D1 so I need to review that (she's one that I've generally agreed with her posts but she is kind of flying under the radar for me and I had her in neutral).

Disagree on Barks. She was quick to try and remove sloth and it seems her ability was more powerful than please's.

Shorty made a super compelling argument, but it's easy to get tricked by selective quote pulling, and since it's a tone read that would have been easily verifiable if I made the time to glance through those games she quoted from, I didn't want to follow it blindly yet. And like I said later, by calling it out, I was also kind of hoping it would save me the trouble of having to read the game if more than one other player could confirm that it wasn't selective quote pulling.

Oops hit enter early - @cubsrule4e also wanted to say I wasn't shading you for neutral/village reading me, I was shading you for saying you thought I might change my opinion on bread which felt weird. And also for not seeing any sketch in shorty's post about please.

Yeet sloth

Because the thing with the genny read feels off to me. I'm hesitant to vote please or alley because they're two that I find sketchy every single game but I do see things that make me side eye

On second thought, barks is out of my POE and onto my village leans. I went back and saw she put sloth on the board with that vote above when please had a couple of votes already and there would have been no reason to bus at that point.

Also speaking of sloth's comments on genny that barks was referring to... that's pushing her to the top of my POE. Followed by cubs. Then mel third since I could potentially buy that mel has truly been busy and not really paying attention.

Get @Animal Midwife and then everyone comes to shorty’s house for the weekend! :heckyeah:
Jk shorty’s going to be cross stitching like a madwoman this weekend and possibly sleeping if the hydra game is over (for us) after Saturday, we’ll see

TOC updated. Feed me love reacts and headpats like the good girl I am.

I’m supposed to be sleeping, but AM told me to have peppered dreams and between that and my ruining my own day earlier thinking about other peppered things, I can’t sleep. Just waiting for the night night drugs to kick in.

I can’t sleep because I’m thinking about wedding death

No, the real solution is to make dubz cross stitch because I also get carsick.
Dubz is coming back in April so that works for me, except I’ll be working on her present at that point, so that doesn’t work for me.

So Dubz has to come back this weekend then.

What if you listen to vaporwave?

But then I'm a little less certain how to interpret this. This was the start of what turned into a landslide onto sloth - why push it more? Unless they decided in wolf that that it was almost guaranteed that sloth was going down and Cyndia might as well jump on the bus. But she changed her vote before I did - she was the 6th of the 9 votes.
I've thought about this for a while and decided this is probably correct.

Cyndia changed her vote before I did, but it was after I'd said this:
If sloth doesn't answer me by 8:30 with who they targeted, I'm going there, and depending on their answer, I might go there anyway.
and it was reasonable to assume that more people would move if I was going to, too.

Night 2

For an apocalyptic wedding, things were going off without too much of a hitch: just the correct amount of hitching. Those in attendance had done a good job foiling the plans of The Powers That Be to allow the rest of the ceremony to proceed. The ring bearer was a fluffy blonde border collie in a suit who managed to get down the aisle without getting too distracted by offers of ear scratches. What a good boy.

Someone started to play Canon in D as the exit song. The brides shared a few quiet words, looked towards the back, and shrugged. Seemed this wasn't the planned exit song, but they took their time down the aisle anyway.

Then, near the back, the song took an erratic turn. It sounded like someone was just throwing in dissonance. Just a quick jog over the black keys once in a while. One of the brides clutched her heart. DON'T PEOPLE KNOW WHAT D MAJOR IS SUPPOSED TO SOUND LIKE? The tempo increased and so did her heart rate until she finally collapsed at the end of the aisle.

@Animal Midwife approached with a tentative toe poke. "Dead from too many flats," she tutted. What a shame, as she'd managed to wrangle her wife into being on time for the event.

I know what this is actually saying, but the wording makes it sound like AM has a wife too lol

Night One
As they reached the end of the aisle and stood before the officiant, he took the hands of the brides and joined them together, taking a step back. He dug in his pockets for a moment. He had come prepared with a few items to make sure the wedding would go as planned, and nothing could get in the way of this happiest of days. There was one thing, in particular, he was looking for. No, not the mask...not those fabulous shoes...not the hat, though it would look dashing on him...and, oh dear why were those even in his pocket. Finally he found what he was looking for. He quickly handed it off to an usher before facing forward again. The brides hadn't noticed his quick action, but they did notice his scream of pain in the next moment. He slumped to the ground, blood pooling from his back.

The write ups are a bit different in the kill method, but I have reason to believe it was actually similar.
