I have early village feels on shorty, alley, AM, and I think barky, also okay with zenge atm. He's asking things I expect village!zenge to, maybe talking more than I usually expect on D1 (reading that as NAI for the moment), but I reserve my read on him until at least a cycle or two has passed.

shorty sounds like her normal self, alley for reasons I stated, AM pushing pleasey sounds like village!AM, barky is a lot more "thread absent" when she wolfs (having just wolfed with her) and I'm not feeling that so far.

That's true. I know it's early in the game still, but AM's earlier post is right. Cray has been adjusting her playstyle a bit recently and has had less late-night catchups or they've been more sporadic. I do agree with you that they are the best way for me to get a read on her. So it is semi-serious because she's lacking content but has checked into the game, and also semi-joking because she just voted me out last game. More serious than joking though, hence the 55% seriousness.

I feel best right now about AM, her interactions with please are much more like village!wife in phrasing. Also have early village leans on Dina, and more tentatively on Zenge and Mel. Mel's wrong with his current vote, but his reasoning in his pushes on people fits the pattern I've seen with village!Mel in the past.

Least comfortable right now with Barky and please. Tonally, please is less hedgy and uncertain than she typically is, and it's making me think back to Basics.

Not sure if anyone actually answered this question. As far as I know, kind of but not really. I think the last game that cyndia played was England, which bread did play in, but he was semi-mod killed on D3. So she would know that he has been a lowposter before (if she remembered him, tbh I didn't remember that they played that game together and had to go look) but wouldn't necessarily know that he is "low-hanging fruit" and an easy misyeet.

I like this analysis. I might be biased because Dina is reading me correctly, but I agree with her thoughts, especially on AM. I'm not sure how I feel yet about barks, but zenge and shorty do feel okay right now, very slight village leans.

I’m not ready to wolf read Cyndia for the vote, but I think you could take bread out of the equation and any player could see the lack of substance and use it as a reason to place a vote there.

I think your point about Dina wasn't super strong, but it was still a valid point to make. I did not ignore it. But everyone getting into a twist about how many posts she'd made and your exact phrasing was not great and kind of excessive. I think the phrasing of both "middle of the game" and "multiple posts" confused people, but I don't know why anybody is getting frustrated about it. I understood your points.

You're right. Sorry I saved the Barks quote and then got distracted when I went looking to see the last game they had played together. And then I fell down the England rabbit hole re-reading the thread.

I still think my point stands that Cyndia might know that he typically does not post a lot, but she might not know how often he's misyeeted.

I just found it interesting that he only had reads on you and shorty and how it was shortly after you had softly defended him being low hanging fruit and not a good place to go today. I went back to look at the one time that please wolfed (Pirate Basics) because I remember that her tone as a wolf was quite different from when she's village. She tends to be very hedgy and unsure as a villager, and it reflects in her reads, whereas when she was wolfing, she was much more confident and direct with her reads. I pulled some quotes from early game in that, and also in HZD where she was village for comparison.

The reads list that she just posted, to me, fits much more with the tone and style that I associate with her wolfing.

Ok the thread has slowed down enough for me to collect my thoughts, especially since I'll be largely absent tomorrow (anniversary with partner).

I don't love cray's focus on sloth's vote for the first pageish. my impression of the first half of day one is everyone casts a joke vote and we all change it when something actually happens. other than that sounds like normal village cray to me

some of lainey's posts would ping me a little if she weren't basically a fresh noob. she only got 1 day last game so i don't super count it
alley sounds like village alley
i'ont trust april one bit after last game, so im not sure where to put her posts at all. same goes for WZ. i need to get a better handle on their tones
I also don't like the focus on april's salt vote, i feel like it's too much attention for something minor? although that can be a direct consquence of there just not being too much to go off of yet

i thought this was an interesting post and i wanted to just keep it where i can see it in the context of reading shorty's posts

I read the 3 pages of thread a couple of times and I didn't get any sketch vibes from anyone.
I have notes that cray is doing what I would expect as far as amount of commenting on people goes, but not necc. NAI (I was fooled by this once before)
and genny seems fine, a normal amount of joking
AM not putting any pressure on MsP is interesting but I'm not sure it's sus. It is, to be fair, halfway through day 1 and we know she doesn't respond to pressure and will show up when she wants to.

I don't understand why TME specifically when it's pretty established that TME is often a misyeet. I know she said "to start the thread" but like... why TME specifically

I played one game w cyndia at the beginning of the year I think and she also didn’t respond to pressure votes
I’m not sure if Dina would but she’s explained her absense and that’s NAI
