Because the thing with the genny read feels off to me. I'm hesitant to vote please or alley because they're two that I find sketchy every single game but I do see things that make me side eye

AM- sounds like village AM in the ways shes investigating people
cubs- sounds like what I've seen from village cubs
genny- i wrote not as chaotic as id expect- but I'm not sure this is AI
mel- pings me but mel always does so that probably means village lol

sloth- sounds normal. I remember thinking they always sound paranoid

I went back to look at the one time that please wolfed (Pirate Basics) because I remember that her tone as a wolf was quite different from when she's village. She tends to be very hedgy and unsure as a villager, and it reflects in her reads, whereas when she was wolfing, she was much more confident and direct with her reads. I pulled some quotes from early game in that, and also in HZD where she was village for comparison.

The reads list that she just posted, to me, fits much more with the tone and style that I associate with her wolfing.

She did. I was thinking about that because she's making me feel very uncomfortable, but I don't know that I've ever read her correctly, and with her not having played in a long time, I wanted to give her a day before I thought about putting a vote there.

Seeing as how I am normally not confident in the early game I am mostly seeing it as a way to preserve a safer bet and also just put my vote down early.

b. it came right after please was put in the lead
c. this is the first time he's mentioned anyone in his poe (except for cubs)
d. he never goes for me first if he later claims it was a "reaction test"
e. never explained why shorty is suddenly neutral

I feel like this post really highlights some concerning points about Mel. Even though he doesn't consider partners until 1 flip, points B-E are still a good concern to point out, and he definitely didn't answer AM on this (besides the emoji).

Again, I just asked it because the thread was dull and I wanted some discussion to occur. Not powering up.

I didn't pull quotes from it because I wanted a more recent village game, but she was also village in Bioshock and very nearly misyeeted because of how hedgy her reads were.

I remember that us wolves tried to use that to our advantage and misyeet her for the hedginess.

mostly the progression on her read on you. When she didn't include you in the people who she thought needed more pressure, she seemed neutral on you, but then most recently said you felt normal and I didn't really see how she got to that point.

Also her village read on cubs felt surprising to me

I agree with Dina's thoughts here. The main concern I have is that it seems like a LOT of people are all ganging up on please and it seems like a misyeet waiting to happen.

I can't remember which game (probably bioshock), but I remember strongly reading her wolfy because of being hedgy and being wrong about it. So it's consistent with what I've seen of village pleasey but I've never seen her wolf - though those quotes you pulled are verrry tonally different. I was just hoping that by commenting on that, someone else would also agree/verify it so I don't have to bother glancing at that game lol.

Just one clarification here. Cyndia, you were a wolf in bioshock, so I'm not certain why you would have been strongly reading her wolfy. It was probably in England? I think that was a game where both of you played.

Points like these are kind of why I want to give slothy a small break. She has been gone for a while now, and while I definitely see why others are wolfreading her, I feel deja vu to the last time she played.
