Thank you very muchI sent a letter of continued interest with some updates and expressing gratitude for the waitlist position a few days after I received the waitlist email. Because of my stats I figured I would be waitlisted so I had it prepared beforehand. I was just about to send a letter of intent this week before getting the email today.
same.. I am thinking of emailing them to receive a possible update on my app because I have been complete since Julycomplete in august, still haven't heard anything... should I still be hopeful?

For housing, a lot of medical students live at the Scott at Brush Park and Studio One (by Essential Property Management). I haven't heard a lot of complaints from them, and the Scott looks very nice. I would recommend avoiding all other Essential Property Management buildings because they are very old and poorly maintained. Outside of Midtown, a lot of students live in the Lafayette Park area. I live at CCA Lafayette Park, which is about as good as it could be for the price that I pay. Lafayette Towers used to have a lot of medical students living in it, but there was a fire like a year and a half ago and the fire alarms did not go off, so a lot of my M3 friends have moved on to better buildings. I would also recommend avoiding the Lafayette Pavilion. I tried moving there as an M2, but they kept delaying my move and raising my rent. Some students also live in the surrounding suburbs (Ferndale, Royal Oak, Oak Park, and Dearborn) but I can't really recommend or disrecommend any one complex in those areas.Any recommendations on where to live?
nadaHas anyone received any scholarship/financial aid info from Wayne yet?
