Do I have a chance to apply this year? Or should I consider something else?
Should I even attempt to apply to medical school: 7 years as an LPN, 3.0 GPA B.S. in Biology, 1 resolved DUI on record, and an army veteran? The dui clinical founding was that I don’t have a drug/alcohol problem. Please advise , I feel hopeless and trying to figure out how and if to move forward.- redirection

Would doing a masters program help my chances of getting into medical school greatly?
Hi, I post a lot about my spotty transcript and how I have F’s on it. Now I’ve been gettin straight A’s and everyone keeps telling me the upward trend is helpful, which really made me happy because I was so worried. Now I’m slightly worried because there are people applying for med school who...- medschooldream9098

Do Medical School’s look at every single grade and see the very upward trend?
I’m really sorry, there might be a question like this but I couldn’t find one that specifically answered what I was wondering. I have a super spotty record which I’ve mentioned before. I have F’s, D’s, and C’s on my record from when I was in Community College. Was going through a lot, I should...- medschooldream9098

How many hours of clinicals, volunteering, and research are a competitive amount? Also how should I keep track/log my hours?
In a previous post I mentioned that my GPA isn't exactly ideal. I can end off my bachelors degree with a decent GPA somewhere around sGPA 3.8ish and cGPA 3.6ish. This is obviously not that competitive of a GPA, not too bad either but when they see my transcript and see how awful I did the past...- medschooldream9098

MCAT adjustment based on major?
I had a premed advisor tell me that adcoms take points off MCATs for neuroscience or psych majors, the thought being that we should have been good at psych anyways and it's artificially inflating our score.
