Can I just say I love reading these posts? Thanks for random posting... It has made the wait more bearable! You people are so funny 😀. Hope we all get some good news... and early tomorrow would be niiice!

Thanks to everyone for being so supportive. As has been said before, it really helps to know people in my same situation are rooting for me, and everyone else too. When we become the class of 2014 at UA we'll be the class that got along the best!
 
I propose a Four Peaks meet up Saturday evening to celebrate you all getting super high spots on the waitlist! 🙂

Oh it's totally for real. Tempe location, of course. Scottsdale is but a pale imitation, imo. And who says you can't go twice in two days? I'm probably going to!

How can you sleep? Im trying everything, but I keep trying to convince myself DO is okay because Ill be able to massage everyone when they need it
 
Well, I'm still awake. In five hours, I'm getting one, possibly two root canals. I'm actually able to think mostly about that instead of med school. Unfortunately, that's not helping me sleep any better.

But hey, at least I'm going to a dentist who refuses to accept my payment beyond what insurance covers!
 
My whole life rests on tomorrow morning! Please please please God give me this opportunity to become a doctor at the University of AZ - Tucson! I want it so so so badly (maybe even as much as u Mathlink)

Well I'm off to sleep and hope to God to get an e-mail tomorrow morning. Good Luck to the rest of you as well!
 
I cant sleep 🙁 you would think a night out with your girl friends would help you fall asleep tonight, but nope not happening! All of you who are sleep are so lucky!

I slept some, but it was probably a grand total of 5 hours - I've pretty much been awake since 4:30 . . .

I wish I could join you guys at Four Peaks! Enjoy it. I'm going to theorize that this year, SDN has attracted only the brightest (and 2010's most fortunate b/c who knows what adcoms really want) among us, and we're all gonna get in! 😀
 
So here are a couple of my predictions: ehandber #1, mathlink #2. For myself, I might be overly optimistic, but I had this feeling I'd get #26. We'll see! I'm not the most qualified applicant, and I'm not sure why UA PHX put me on their Thursday WL - so it's just a sign to me that if someone thinks they didn't have the greatest application, maybe something on there caught the adocom's eye.
 
Hey! Thanks! I hope that's true man. I hope we all get in! At the very least, I want us to all get on the list so we have some hope.

And I really appreciate the couple of people who think ML and I are going to be battling it out for the top spots. I hope that it's true!

But, I'm off to the gym. I guess I will just have to hope that at 9:15am when I check my email I have something from the ADCOM. I realllllly hope I get on the list, and I hope all of you do too!

I hate celebrity gossip, but I seem to remember hearing that lil' wayne had to get like 6 or 7 root canals at the same time. I've never had one, but they don't sound fun. Stay strong, its much better for the root canal to be your bad thing for today.

Well from a guy's perspective, its more like a night IN with your girlfriend/wife/that homeless chick from behind basha's that will help you fall asleep. A lil' bow-chika-bow-wow, a post-bow-chika-bow-wow sandwich, and its off to sleepy town...😎 Sorry for being such a guy.

Only one root canal...I'm in the middle of it right now. I just wanted to claim the title of first person to post on sdn while in the middle of a root canal. The drugs are good, I'm a little loopy and can't feel a thing. This is fun!

Have you seen the video on youtube of the young boy in a car after his trip to the dentist? "Is this real?" lol!
 
Every time my phone rings saying I got an email my heart skips a beat. And then I get angry bc its a list serv email about some lecture on something I won't go to. Stop it!

I broke my refresh button from constant clicking. Last year the list came out from 8:00 am
 
I hope that when they finally DO choose between me and ML for #1 that they attach a picture of the aftermath of the fight. Could you imagine an attachment that shows our interviewers and deans in the octagon? 😱 WHOA!

This is probably a test from the adcoms - whoever's heart fails them upon opening their email is obviously not fit for the stresses of being a doctor. We all better pass that one - no one go dying on us now! 👍
 
There's always a chance. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. It'll come when it comes.
 
I'm not even waiting to hear anything today but I am so anxious/excited for all y'all that I keep checking this thread! Best wishes everyone!

Also, I missed the whole disclosure thing because I was out of town. I'm Erin, and I live in Colorado but I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA.
 
Hey Erin! Where in Colorado? I went to high school in the springs, at Air Force Academy.
 
Has anyone talked to Tucson to get a better idea of what time it's coming?

I am in Fort Collins now, but I used to live in the Springs, from 2003-2004. My husband was a cadet at the Air Force Academy, and then he was stationed there for a year. He's out of the Air Force now though.
 
Ha! Cool! Yea, there's a public high school on that base - my high school. That was a pretty unique high school experience I think. Guys with M16s guarded my school, every morning there were jets and parachuters on the way in to class. Pretty crazy!

Well, with any luck I will get to meet you when we are both med students. But, I guess that depends on how today and the rest of the semester goes for me.
 
Just got a confirmation from Tara that they received my PHX WL email - I could've sworn it was an email from Tucson when I first saw it . . . Got it at 10:40am.
 
It was to offer a spot on the WL. Have you guys gotten your confirmation emails yet?
 
Still no word, but I did just discover the song 'Hate my Life' by Theory of a Deadman. It's an excellent theme song for today.
