yeah i have to remind myself to not be annoying with my updates. and i agree, i wish i had some idea what was going on in with the admissions process right now...im starting to just give up hope
 
Hey everyone! Don't give up hope! I just received the magical call/email and was accepted! Big decision to make since I got off a waitlist last week and I'm still waiting for financial aid packages. Stay optimistic about post May 15th movement! 🙂

solid pickup. i was thinking about picking him up in my league too. his last couple starts have been way legit....and one of the previous ones where he gave up 5 runs....he gave up a 3-run hr mistake in the last inning in which he pitched. he is going to be a solid pitcher. can't go wrong with him IMO. good run support on the Dbacks. bullpen? obviously shaky as hell (worst bullpen in the majors) though they have been better as of late. and kennedy usually goes deep enough now where there isn't much need to worry about the bullpen blowing the ENTIRE lead lol.

just got in off the waitlist via an email. the email basically says "we'd be honored to have you - are you still interested?"

i'm 95% sure i'm going to tell them i'm not though, bc i'm all settled in with the school I decided on May 15th

I can relate to that last bit. I just signed a pre-lease and my family is already clearing their schedules for white coat where I'm signed on at. I've also been talking a lot with many of my current/future(?) classmates and met some really cool people. Each day that passes, it's going to get harder, logistically and emotionally, to walk away from all that. Never thought I'd feel this way. The way they draw this process out doesn't seem like the best way to do things. It's really tough right now because either way, after a year, I'm just ready for this whole thing to be over.

Gripe moment complete. Lol. 🙂

I'm sorry! My current school and Pritzker are 20miles apart-ish so i'm still hoping but I also feel the pressure to find an apartment for my fiancees sake as well. Please please Pritzker lemme know good news! lol

Withdrew from Chicago - so there's a spot out there(esp if you fit my white male demographic). I'm heading to UPenn.

I'll take it! 🙂 White male and I just got accepted off the waitlist this afternoon. They were VERY generous with financial aid and I will definitely be attending.

BTW, Pritzker's website is so awesome. Puts most other med school websites to shame.

It's official: received waitlist notification today. The letter is dated May 26th, and I live in the Chicagoland area. Emailed letting them know I'd gladly accept the spot! :xf: :xf:
 
I was also accepted over the phone yesterday and also offered some sweet money. Things are picking up now so good luck to everyone waiting to hear!

I can't remember exactly, but I remember hearing 60-70 with movement varying greatly between years. "Has been zero but it's also been as high as 25 in the past". :shrug:

Yes! AMCAS and I are gettin' real cozy. Chicago's pretty far up there on the list right now, so hopefully I get an interview!

Greetings from Florida. im currently on the waitlist 2...thought i'd join in on the fun. i think i've aged around 10 years throughout this whole process. i just needed to express my emotions with a few people who can relate to what i'm going thru rite now lol.
This waitlist process is like the whole LeBron James free agency thing, but in reverse 🙁
