The wait is starting to take it's toll. Trying to plan a wedding/rest of marriage + waitlist/uncertainty = lots of stress 🙁

Same here BBender! I'm getting married next week and the stress from all the things we still have to take care of is starting to really build up. Waiting for a miracle from Pritzker does not help. I wish you the best of luck with your wedding. By the way, did you catch the Blackhawks parade on tv or in person? That was truly awesome to see Chicago come out and support the champs. I guess everyone figured it was better to go and support the Hawks instead of the two dissapointments that we claim as our baseball teams.

Congrats!! That's exciting to hear! Yeah, makes things a ton more stressful when you have to think about how it's going to affect someone else instead of being ready to uproot yourself at any moment.

I'm absolutely loving it. On Oahu on Waikiki and the weather + beach are awesome. If I had to choose all over and had the money, I might have gone Maui just because it's slightly less commercial and I'm huge into bodysurfing. lol where are you from in Hawaii??
 
lol i actually went to the sox parade and it was pretty big...but true the baseball teams have been disappointing...especially the cubbies. but imagine how crazy the city would go if the bears won...it would be insaaaane. too bad favre is probably coming back, bc i think the bears are gonna make some noise this year. still not sure about mike martz tho...but anyone is better than turner callin the plays.

p.s. BBender...hawaii is for after the wedding not before it lol. tan it up 4 me

Haha I'm here on the parents' dime as our last family vacation ever. I wish my fiancée and I could afford Hawaii! We're instead jumping on 65% off Sandals Resorts deal for next summer. Will have to tough it out in Jamaica lol

And the Bears are going to be a cellar team as much as it pains me to say. No good blocking TE + mediocre OL + terrible WRs means Martz will have one helluva time. 🙄

Lol don't tell that urlacher...he might snap you in half after the way he reacted to gale sayers. but have fun wit the fam 😎 hopefully jamaica will be around next summer...that is if it doesn't get flooded with oil first 🙁

Anyone know if Sylvia's in the office? I sent her an email 2 weeks ago and she was on top of it but this week I've got a relatively urgent email and it's been a few days. Maybe I'm just being neurotic. :scared: lol

Im from Honolulu on Oahu...pretty close to waikiki and diamond head. Glad it treated you well dude...its where I get to vacation for xmas break every year...not bad eh?!

no news here...as for the question regarding Sylvia i'm not sure. You could always call admissions and maybe they could put you through to her. admissions is really nice surprisingly considering most medical schools aren't......bump

Actually, I just wound up emailing David Owen to see if he can help me out and explained that I know Sylvia is probably swamped and that I totally understand. If I don't hear back by this time next week, I'll prolly wind up calling. Think that's ok?

can some1 tell me why usa is losing to slovenia...im shocked/disappointed.
first the lakers win, then usa loses...whats next? rejection from pritzker :scared: the last 24 hours have not been good for me

bbender did u watch the game?! the ref totally robbed us...i still can't believe U.S. came back. i wrote that last comment at halftime, but man the U.S. pulled through. what a bunch of fighters. loved the resilient effort. hopefully they can take algeria out and finish top of the group. U.S.A!!!!

Yup. Turned down some good schools to go there because I really liked it a ton. Only place I'd rather go is Pritzker but either way I'll be in a place I'll love for 4 years.

...and I'm in it until the end lol 😀

Had some down time, so I decided to give the thread a bump!
 
yeah the sports scene this summer has been awesome. too bad the US lost tho. what a heartbreaker. wish i could've gone to the sox/cubs game, but oh well. hopefully we'll all hear some good news before the 4th of july. that'll make for one amazing/happy family bbq. lol buuump
