Yeah. I feel for you. My MCAT score isn't good anymore after this year. I really wanted to go to Illinois. Based on last year's thread there seems to still be a bit of hope. Best of luck to you!

Just got the call today - admissions offer for Urbana/Peoria! That is the only campus where they had openings.

I don't know that there are any more openings - I just know that there were none at Chicago or Rockford. There is always hope, it just may be dwindling. I had actually given up and was already planning for next year.
I am however appealing to Chicago, because my wife works in the city. Its an extremely long shot, but I would prefer to have her around while I'm in medical school 🙂

It seems like UIC has a lot of waitlist movt compared to most other schools...Are the ppl getting off the waitlist currently mainly In state or Out of state? I'm applying for the 2012 class, so this would be useful info. Is there anything I need to know about UIC like for example, people say that UVM (vermont) waitlists all out of state people but this is not a HUGE pitfall b/c a lot of people get off the waitlist?
Are those few people who recently received invites to Urbana/Peoria accepting the positions?got the call today. they offered Urbana/Peoria only. And I did send a letter of intent on the 13th. don't know if that had anything to do with my acceptance.
