Hey guys,

This is for those who are on the waitlist at Michigan. Hopefully, we'll be seeing some movement in a few weeks. Patience!

Cmon guys, I know there are more of you out there. at least 49 others of you who are in the upper tier with me.

Twitter update will come tomorrow for waitlist speculation. I don't know, but that doesn't sound promising. Either they have alot of spots open still or they have had alot of deposits sent in, which makes it less likely that they would turn to waitlist.

I've been accepted to Michigan but am really hoping to get off some other waitlists because I don't want to attend UM (numerous reasons, nothing against the program though)...I think this kind of turnover will occur in the next couple months. If there has been one thing about this whole process that I've learned is that it is completely unpredictable. It's like a box of chocolates. you never know what you're going to get.

Twitter says they will be giving out some type of stats tomorrow regarding the waitlist. anything could have happened after the second look weekend.

well looks like we really will be waiting until june 1st. It seems like the whole accept/decline ratio is constantly changing so they really won't know until after may 15th

Even after May 15th, there's probably still a lot of fluctuation as people start getting off waitlists at other schools and begin withdrawing.

Or perhaps it's just wishful thinking, I'm upper tier deferred, really hoping for a spot here.

I'm in the same boat as you, womp...a spot would be really nice. I'm hoping we'll hear how many spots are open (if any) in the next week or so...June 1 seems so far away.

so i know that tweet from the beginning of june wasn't so positive for all of us, but has anyone heard anything else since then regarding the mich waitlist? anyone think there is any hope for the upper tier WLers?
