Look at the very bottem of the page. It will say "updated on...". For me it says 9/12/11, before it said 8/26 (the day I was complete).
Yup same last update 9/12, oh well we will have to wait and see.

Hi guys,
I added Rush to the schools that I applied to on 8/31 and haven't received the secondary yet... It is the only school that I haven't received a secondary from thus far. Is this typical or should I e-mail admissions?
Thanks!
yeah, i think it pretty much means that we they have looked at our app and we are in the running for the next batch of interviews.
My page has updated every weekday since I was complete. I'm not sure it means a person actually looked at it again.
Edit: whoa, looks like me and einstein were thinking the same thing at the same moment 😵
Hahaha, great minds think alike? But I submitted sometime in mid-July and was complete around then. My date didn't used to change often at all, maybe every couple weeks. Recently (end of last week/this week) it has been updated daily! No clue if it means they look at it or not! When were you complete?
I was complete 7/19. The updates may have picked up somewhat recently, but I'm pretty sure they've always been very frequent. It might just indicate that the system scanned for new information or something, I don't know.

I submitted my supplemental application for Rush today, and 2 seconds after I hit submit I realized that I forgot to go back to the 1st page and add in a third alternate career choice (I did list 2). I haven't mailed in my fee and signature form yet. Should I still mail in my fee, or do you guys think this is a big enough mistake to rule out my application?
I think the page just automatically updates the date
do you guys remember that rush always have "maintanence" at a certain time?
so maybeeee thats why our dates change everyday? 🙁
Did it take anyone more than 3 weeks to show that your supplemental was received? Just hit the 3 week mark yesterday and nada
The Rush website is challenging to navigate. Can any current students post a schedule of M1 or M2 years?
Are the pre-clinical years lecture-based, PBL-based, etc.?
Oh God 3 weeks to be completed? I just sent mine in 2 days ago. I guess my chance is close to zero now.It took three and a half weeks for them to mark my file as complete and everything as received (I was only marked complete this week). You can call them if you're worried though!

At present, the first year is block scheduled. Your first two weeks are spent in the "clinical skills intensive" section of the physicianship curriculum, which is a course that you take for the first two years. After that are the usual med school courses in the sciences, which are presently systems-organized (although you go through the traditional cell / molecular bio and immunology / hematology classes before starting on the systems).
I wouldn't characterize the curriculum as problem-based, though there are elements of it present. For example, you will spend some time working through simulated patient cases (taking histories, gathering information from physical exams, forming differential diagnoses) throughout the year.
Generally speaking, your first year's daily schedule is organized to have all-class lecture in the morning (starting around 8 or 9 am, not mandatory), with activities for smaller groups in the afternoons. Friday afternoons are unscheduled. You have visits roughly every two to three weeks with a preceptor in their clinic as part of the Student Continuity Experience of physicianship.
This year, the second-year students are going through the non-block schedule and my class is likely to also have a non-block format. My understanding is that the entering class for 2012 should have a block schedule by the time they hit second year; however, this is just second-hand information and nothing I've heard directly from faculty. This would be an excellent question to ask at an interview. 😉
I was wondering how they inform you if you receive an interview or a rejection once your file has been marked complete. Do they send you an email or a letter in the mail?
Invite this morning too! What a great way to start the day! i was complete 08/10
+1
The email was sent at 2am central time. Odd.
My recs were sent over two weeks ago and Rush hasn't updated the status page yet. I'm dying hereee.

Can't wait for my interview this upcoming Wednesday!
I know it has been addressed earlier in the thread, but for those of you who received invites did your profile update daily? Mine has been updating daily for the past week. Any thoughts?

Some of us thought this might be useful for you-all who are going to be interviewing here soon. Good luck!

Do you mind if I ask why Rush is your top choice over UIC, Northwestern, and Loyola?
Well for one I am tired of the "big school" environment. UIC is a great school that gives tons of hands-on work, but I think that I want a supportive environment that is a little more close-knit which I feel UIC doesn't have. You seem to have to find a group and make ends meet that way. Rush really promotes the small community/family environment at the school.
Northwestern is a wonderful school in a great location, but I feel that I will not get much hands-on work in the first two years. Also, the price is quite high...
Loyola is another great school but it's outside the city which would require me to give up my apartment and move out there. I live about a mile away from Rush.
Overall, I want a small school environment, I want hospitals/clinics that are going to be able to give me some opportunity to interact in my first two years, cost is reasonable, wouldn't require me to pack up all my things and move, etc. The other things that have drawn me to like Rush: brand new hospital, great location (for my living situation and just where it is in the city), intense curriculum, friendly environment, several recommendations from my personal physicians, great hospital system with a plethora of residency opportunities, participation in community clinics, cost is reasonable compared to others
Good luck on the interview tomorrow!
By the way, does anyone know how the LOR's show on the application page?
My school sends a letter packet, but the website only shows my first two recommendation letters in the packet. The first two technically fulfill their requirement, so I'm not particularly worried, but I feel that some of my other letters are probably more relevant for their program. Do you think they will look at all of the letters before they make a decision? Thanks for any input!

Rush tuition: $46,272
Feinberg tuition: $44,993
Check yo facts, son.
