they released a second wave of rejections in the evening yesterday after they had already released a wave that same morning. Today, they released a wave in the morning, so people are thinking there will also be a second wave in the next hour or so.

Are they sending out any more II at all? I haven't gotten an R or heard anything at all
so just to confirm, people who got the email that states “Your application materials have cleared the review stage and remain under active consideration within our process.” in January were rejected this past weekend? 😭😭😭 like I appreciate the transparency but it gave me sm false hope
I am really hoping I can get an interview this week.
some were, but not all. I got the January letter and I dodged the rejection wave. Im crossing my fingers I can still get an interview

At this point, I have survived past my attempt last year, I have uploaded two update letters and a letter of continued interest. I think I have done all I can so we will have to see.

I got the currently assessing your materials email in October and cleared the review stage email in early January. I also sent an update email back in late October. Looks like they still send IIs into late Feb/early March based on admit.org last year

+1 OOS II, when scheduling I saw open spots for 2/18 and 2/25 (srry didnt check for march)
+1 OOS II, no spots for March sadly (was checking bc of my work schedule didn't align with II...). 2/18 and 2/25 was the only ones open.
I feel Like I am getting rejected today. I am beyond disappointed. Ive been teased with the potential for interview since October. I have sent two update letters and cleated the major rejection waves. I would do anything for a damn interview i have nothing else at this point. I would go here in a heartbeat. If i didn't have a shot at being interviewed they shouldn't have said anything

Why do you feel like they are sending rejections today? I mean I know it's basically over, but last year they waited until the end of the month for the next rejection wave. Did you see/hear something ?

Maybe I am being too optimistic but I feel like they’re going to keep sending II’s this week. If they wanted to reject us they would’ve included us in the major R wave
yeah but the next R wave should be 26th or 27th. Honestly If i dont get in I may ask to meet with them to review my app. I wans't expecting to be in it this long and I want to know why i didn't get in but others with my scores did.

Hopefully all works out for you. Rush is honestly one of those schools where they get so many applicants and is selective about interviews that they can't take everyone who might fit their mission.
it just sucks to see people get 4,5,6 interviews and I get a hint i may get one and have to wait the entire cycle to get the door slammed in my face.

If there are no interview slots for March currently, then doesn’t that mean all II’s have been sent out given 2/18 and 2/25 are in a couple of days? 🙁

It wouldn’t be fair to send out II’s and expect those who received them to be available in the next 9 days. Like one person said it’s not aligning with their work schedule. I think more slots are going to open up for early March.

I really hope everything works out for you, I’m in a similar boat and it has been a tough past few months. We got this though, keep your head high
Also, it seems last year a few interviews were sent late feb/early march

Yes, there is a facebook group. You can find it in the middle of the email they sent after your acceptance.

They probably about to kick us to the curb at the end of the week, Thursday or Friday. I don't understand, I wish I was just rejected with everyone else that was 2 weeks ago. This process is psychological torture.

OMG CONGRATS
I know it’s not good to be jealous but it is ****ing killing me to not get an interview from rush. Seeing people with the same MCAT as me getting interviews drives me insane
