Are you both from the Dec 2nd group?
How many students are accepted at each date? 10?
Good question... also, does anyone know how many interview dates are included for each time the ADCOMs get together?
No, I interviewed the end of November. Looks like I'm sitting in the upper third of the "wait-list". I know I should be happy but I was really hoping for an acceptance... Siiiiighhhh.![]()
Upper one third is awesome! But I know what you mean... An acceptance would've been nice. Happy holidays and hopefully you will get an acceptance soon (you and I).
Sigh I am so upset. Waitlisted at the lower third middle of the wait list. Pretty much a death sentence to me. I don't see anyway I would get out of that position.
This was a total shocker... My interviewers told me I would be a good fit, and I felt like I owned those interviews. I was definitely tired that day and zoned out for the rest of the day after my interviews. I am not sure if that contributes... but I feel like there is some sort of red flag in my application now.
Reapplicant , OOS 3.6+gpa 33+ mcat.
I would send him an email through the mdadmissions email. I forget what that email is off the top of my head. That is how I contacted him. Alternatively if you really wanna talk one on one you can call and ask to speak to him.
That being said, I prefer email communication with people cuz its convenient and less nerve wracking. So that's why I always chose email for communication.
You can PM him but I think you will get a quicker response by sending him an email or calling him directly.
PS I was a reapplicant when I got into med school. so keep your head up. People told me I'd not make it and I did. so I mean if you really want it you will make it if you are persistent. Good things happen to those who wait.
Hello.
For those who interviewed. If the interview ends @4:00pm. am I cutting too close if my flight is at 5:55pm?
Also any advice for an interview would be appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
15 minutes to the airport? You could make it. Depending on your travel plans, to save time you could take just a carry-on and use on-line check-in. But then you need to find a printer for your ticket in Orlando somewhere.

An M2 brought me back to the airport almost immediately after the day ended. I got there really early, had only carry-on items, and had my boarding pass already printed No problems whatsoever, except for all the waiting (haha...) and, my flight was delayed a half hour, for who knows what. So if all goes well you can make it.Hello.

when is second look?
Does anybody know if the new Nemours and VA hospitals and the Scripps institute will be academically and clinically accessible to the class of 2016? I have been accepted at FSU as well so I am trying to weigh the costs and benefits of leaving my home town (Tallahassee). Any news about these new facilities?
Thank you!
I asked one of the students and they told me that it would not be available to the students for their rotations or any part of the curriculum since they would be brand new and just starting out and would not be a good "teaching" area. Hope that kind of answers your question.
P.S. I'm not a pharmacy student; this is my girlfriend's account
does anyone know if people post any interview feedback about their interview day at ucf?

REL, since I see you're checking this thread out now, do you know if there are new residency programs opening in Orlando, or if there are ones that are new that aren't showing up yet? Because on FREIDA, there are a lot of specialties that don't have residency positions in Orlando, and I was just wondering if UCF if going to be getting those installed (or already has) in the next few years.
the nemours and va will open at the end of 2012 andd will definitely be viable clinical training facilities by the time the class of 2016 is ready. I am not aware of a scripps at the lake nona medical campus.
