Thank you! 😀
If you're going to take Bolt Bus, choose the option to get dropped off at the 34th st and 8th ave stop. Then you have to walk to Madison ave and 37th (which is a bit of a walk if you're holding lots of stuff, it would be a quick and cheap cab though), where you'll see a sign for the BxM10 bus. The ride up will take about 45min-1hr, and exit at the Morris Park Ave & Eastchester Road stop (where you'll see all the buildings with EINSTEIN and a double helix logo on them).
Here's the pdf of the schedule:

Hey guys, I apologize for not keeping up with the forum. But how is Einstein with financial aid? My reason for asking, is that I got accepted to my state school and have an interview at Einstein in January. I'm wondering if it's worth going.
+1 wondering the same thing. It would cost 350$ to fly rto NY, plus taking a day outiea
I'm interviewing at Einstein in a couple weeks and will be traveling from Philadelphia. Does anybody have any suggestions on whats the best way to go about this?
My interview is in the afternoon and don't need to be on campus until 11:30. Right now, I am considering buying a megabus or bolt bus ticket to the city and then cabbing from there.
COME! EINSTEIN IS DEFINITELY WORTH THE TRIP. This should not be the time to save money. You might end up having a great financial package from Einstein. You never know! Einstein is very generous.
I would take the Megabus to Penn Station, from that, take the 2 train to 180th street and then take the Bx21 which drops you right off of Einstein. This is the cheapest way!
been complete since around late july/early august, and still no word.
does anyone think i should email a letter of interest? thanks for the help.
For those that interviewed this year. Were there questions about Obamacare? Was the interview mainly focused on your achievements and experiences? Any thoughts would be helpful. I am excited to interview here this Friday!
Interviews are mostly about application and if you don't bring up anything outside of that, neither will your interviewer. For those that interviewed this year. Were there questions about Obamacare? My interview at Einstein in October 2011 was one of the most conversational I've ever had: almost like we had just met up for drinks or something. Didn't end up getting in though haha. Perhaps I didn't seem serious since I felt so relaxed?
Uh oh I hope thats not a trend! My interviewer and I kept veering onto tangents about airplanes and even trips to DC/Asia. It was the most random interview 😕

Just got my interview invitation was complete on november 26. I am extremely excited its my first interview invite.
can you possibly give us your stats? thanks and congrats.
Why is perma virgin responding-- same poster?
those are the correct stats i just confirmed my II its January 23rd at 9:15
Does anyone happen to know if there are designated "interview for waitlist" spots? I received an II over a month ago, but was scheduled for a March interview. I've been trying to push it up to February because I'm going to be in town then, but I keep getting told that March is the earliest they have.
Yet people are confirming interviews in January?
Anyone have any input with regard to this? Or maybe, anybody plan on dropping their interview spot in February and want to give it to me
you can PM me for that one 😉
so..are the first round of acceptances still coming out jan 1st?
This school takes LOIs right? Do you just send it to the admission's email?
Yes and yes.
That is what I did at least.
Just wondering if they responded to say they received the update after you sent it?
Hey mcatsoon, did you take the mcat yet?
So my interview is this Friday and I have a quick question. Previously in this thread, people have said take the BxM10 on Madison ave and 37th. However, this address is not given on the official schedule of the bus, which was also posted earlier...so what should I do?
You probably want more that $6.00 on your metrocard. The bus/subway fare is $2.25 so unless you are going there and back without riding any public transportation you're going to need moreAnd just making sure. A regular metro card with 6.00 dollars should get me there right?

Do you guys think acceptances will come out on the 15th?
Had my interview. Think it went really well. Really chill like everyone says!!! Thanks for all the navigational help!!!
When should those who interviewed very recently (and into next week) expect the committee to make a decision? I know the 1st batch of acceptances come out on the 15th, but is it regular rolling admissions after that? Or is their a predetermined rate for the 2nd round of acceptances?
I heard around 2 months!
