Are all decisions (accepted, WL, rejected) coming out on Jan 15? Or does anything other than an acceptance take longer to be released?

Slash I definitely hate you guys for pointing out that last year decisions came out before new years. Added three weeks of needless neuroticism to my life

What is the fastest way from LGA using public transporation? Also how much is the fare- should I have a handful of quarters ready?

Thanks!

You load up a metro card via automated machine using credit card. I think it's 4.50? to go from la guardia to manhattan and then 5.50 to take the express bus to einstein. It's been 4-5 months since I've done this so my numbers may be off. I'd put 20 on the metro card to be safe.

Jan 15th cant come any sooner. Waiting since Oct 3!

AE released decisions on the 14th two years back....:scared:...never mind just called to find out that decisions start coming out tomorrow.

I interviewed during the first week of December. I wonder how long I'm going to have to wait...

Almost exactly 1 year ago, Einstein rejected me (sounds funny haha), post-interview. I loved Einstein and was quite disappointed to receive the rejection, although things have worked out in the long run. Good luck to all of you guys waiting to hear back, and PM me if you'd like to discuss why I think I didn't get in here. Also, SilverCat, (hopefully you will see this post)...I love your signature. 🙂

Haha, wording my post that way was an honest mistake, which I have since edited. 🙂 Sorry!

Quiet thread considering decisions are coming out tomorrow. Get EXCITED guys!👍

good luck to everyone who interviewed. i hope there will still be a few more spots left after your acceptances come tomorrow, i would love to interview here still.

I interviewed about a month ago, I hope to hear something soon although it might not be for awhile.

I'll get excited tomorrow if I hear some good news :naughty:

I interviewed sometime around December 16th. Does anyone know of I have a chance of hearing back tomorrow? I really want to hear back tomorrow.

I can't wait... I wonder what time tomorrow. I'd be so disappointed if I don't hear anything

An inside source (a current Einstein student) told me that they got their acceptance email on Jan 15th, 2010 at 7:33am!

It would be so lovely if they keep that going and don't make us wait an awful torturous nerve-racking day.

Last year I received my "official" acceptance on January 15th at 8:25 AM.

(But I had received the unofficial official acceptance email prior to that on December 22)

It seems that this year they didn't do any of those early unofficial acceptance emails, and are only sending out official emails January 15th and onward.

Good luck to you all!

Feel free to PM me or post here with any questions at all about Einstein if/when you get acceptances 🙂
AECOM is an awesome place!

It's 4:53am but I am pumped to hear from Einstein in the next few hours. I really hope I hear back today and that it be news that is desirable.

So....has anyone heard back yet this morning> We are passed the purported "7;33am !" release time

Nail biting!!!

You people are making me nervous. Shame on me for coming to this forum so early in the day. Needless to say, now I'm anxious too, interviewed back in early November.

Good luck everyone 👍

It's seriously killing me. I'm looking every 5 minutes between here and my email.

I can just imagine some troll posting a fake email response here just to get everyone excited and get a good kick out of it

As a distraction from your tense state, I'd like to pose a question to the 18 members (and I suppose the 35 guests) currently viewing this thread.
I recently interviewed at Einstein (too recently to expect anything today, unfortunately) and I am wondering when would be a good time to send the committee an update letter. The updates are substantial (Fall grades, authorship), but I wonder if I should wait until after the committee's decision in case I am wait listed and require updates to try to gain admission.
Thoughts?

Why give them the chance to wait list you? I would send it as soon as possible so they're looking at it when they review your file. It will just reinforce your desire to be at Einstein the first time around. I say go for it.

I agree with the previous poster, don't wait to get put in the pool of waitlisted people and then try to swim yourself out of that with updates if those updates can bump you to an acceptance right away. I had similar updates as you did and I wrote admissions an email the week after my interview. I wanted to make sure the info was there as soon as the admissions committee reviewed my application.

On a quick note, the admissions office wants all updates as part of the email message you send to them, they do not accept attached documents or letters (I originally did that but they were very nice to point out that they couldn't accept my updates like that). Hope this helps.

Thank you for the advice 😀
