I finally received the acceptance call! I was just starting to give up after seeing how many were accepted already just from SDN. I'm definitely attending FIU but still can't believe its true. My stats were 32 MCAT and 3.9 GPA for those wondering. Good luck to whoever is still waiting 🙂

I think I got the scholarship you gave up. The lady from financial aid called me at 11ish in the morning while I was at the gym to let me know I had been chosen for the full tuition scholarship. So happy to have gotten it because this was my number one choice! BTW I interviewed on 2/8, was waitlisted shortly thereafter and found out I was accepted on 5/1. My stats are 34/3.65. Excited to meet you all come fall!
My hubs just withdrew from the FIU waitlist today. This was definitely a top choice for him (i was dreaming of palm trees), but he got into a state school today (we're OOS) & I also just got a promotion at my job on Friday which would be hard to match in Miami. I hope this helps you guys who are still waiting as FIU is definitely an amazing school!! We really wish you all the best - we're going to keep watching FIU - we know amazing things will come from this program!!

Does anyone elses to-do list say "Admissions not confirmed"
Mine says Admissions not confirmed as well. I figured it takes time to update since I was only accepted 6 hours ago.
Is there a Facebook group for the class of 2017?
Does anyone that's been accepted/that is in the facebook group know if the number of members reflects the amount of people that have been accepted? Are you told about the group upon acceptance? And are people encouraged to leave if they withdraw acceptance. I know this is a little crazy, but the waiting game has made me so 🙂
We are not told about the facebook group upon acceptance. From what I see the group was created by the same admin as the class of 2016 and many members are also a part of the class of 2016 facebook group. Don't worry, I know exactly what you mean about being driven crazy by the waiting game. Good luck!
just got accepted via phone call this morning (9:15 am EST)! My stats are 3.8/29. For those of you still waiting I spoke to the admissions office earlier this week and was told they are still processing seats and won't be done until May 30th. Good luck to all still waiting!
