I asked them if they reviewed my app they said it was sent to the commitee already and that i should hear something in two weeks. sept is in two weeks and is the earliest they can send rejections lol. hopefully i'm wrong but i'm not too optimistic at this point

I'm not too optimistic either. Complete 7/31. Heard nada from them. =/

Woah....I had the option of October 24th/25th this morning but I was waiting for figure out flights. Missed out on those so I'll be there November 1 now

Yeah I think they probably sent out a few invites today and the spots filled up quick. I will see you on November 1st though! Good luck!
 
So I was complete 8/3. Should I be worried I didn't get an invite? Is there anybody else complete that day that didn't get one?

ME 🙁 with a 3.9 and a 36.... and i want to go here SO BADLY!
 
Interview invite received yesterday! Was complete 7/23.

What about a 6:40 flight? That is my only option from Reagan, otherwise I have to take Dulles which would be an expensive taxi right?

Depends on what day of the week, but you should be fine. You don't have to go through the city at ALL to get to the airport. I once got from my front door in Georgetown to my GATE at Reagan on weekday in less than 25 minutes. Just make sure you check into your flight in the MORNING before the festivities start.

Obviously if you have a 4 o'clock interview a 6 pm flight is going to be tough, but that's true of any airport in the country...
 
so i submitted my secondary on july 25th, but my mcat scores didn't come out until august 14th. i'm complete at all of my other schools except for gtown...should i give them a call or wait it out a little longer?
 
For Georgetown, does the status page ever change from complete to under review? Or does it remain at "congratulations... All required questions have been completed and your application has been successfully submitted" until you're offered an interview or rejected? THanks!

I dont think it changes. I got an II Friday and it still just shows that my application was complete 7/26
 
Is anyone who has received interviews MSTP? Jw if those have been sent out yet.

Yeah, you basically won't get any other updates on that page until your admissions decision is updated.

Does anyone know if Georgetown would be cool with rescheduling an interview? Classes just started, and one of my profs won't let me out of an exam the day of my interview.

I know Georgetown is a catholic, jesuit school. And something that really attracts me to the school is its active religious life. But, it just seems like a little part of the school. Should I mention it in my secondary? This is really the only school i mention religion in my secondary, but I don't know it's still taboo to talk about. I don't wanna put anyone off by talking about it. What do you guys think?

I mentioned it in a cursory way. I was raised as a Catholic and said that I was eager to study at a progressive Catholic institution. Completed 7/27, II 8/17.

If your religion is important to you, you should be able to write about it in a tasteful way that an adcom shouldn't be put off by--especially at a Catholic school.
 
When does Georgetown begin sending rejections? I was complete 7/19 and it's been silence since. I was wondering if I should give them a call and ask of I've been looked at.

II this morning, complete 7/30. They only had dates for mid-November. Really excited!
 
Is it too late to submit a secondary here? I received it a while ago but got bogged down with other secondaries and work and haven't completed it yet. I am worried its too late now with so many II out already. Advice?

some don't even have primary verified yet....it is def not too late.

If I have a 6:30 flight out of DCA on a Thursday I should be good to make it on time if I try and get an earlier interview time, correct? Will Admissions/someone hold onto a bag for me so I can jump onto a cab right after?

Also...best/cheapest way to get to DC from Philly on a Wed. Night would be the megabus correct?

Trying to plan out a 4 day trip to Philly+ DC and get three interviews in while I'm there. I'm from the midwest so I can't keep flying out for each one individually!

i would say mega/bolt is cheapest, and i would look into amtrak if you want fastest/more comfortable. good luck!

yeah they ask you if you have to leave early and then you get the 2pm interview.... I got to the airport 3:30ish i think and I had to walk to the hotel to get my stuff! you can also leave your stuff/luggage in a room when you get there in the morning if you rather do that. contact the admin office and they might hook you up with a student to stay the night with.

Hey guys, I just got my secondary this morning but was sent 3 different emails about my PIN 2 hours apart. Did anyone else have this?
 
Yes, I did as well as a bunch of other people on this thread, no worries! I just used the most recent one, since that was the only password that seemed to work for me
