That's a SELECT interview date. Seems like they haven't gotten to the CORE interviewees yet..
 
Interviewing here in Tampa for SELECT next week, any advice on how I should prepare? thanks.
 
Did everyone already sign up for second look? I received an email for second look registration, but then a second email saying to disregard it, so I did. I never received another email about it, so I went to the second look website and it says that registration is closed due to being filled to capacity. Did they open registration and just not said another email?

They sent another email one minute after the 3 recall emails that gave us the instructions to register for second look. I would call them if you still want to go to second look and try to sort it all out.

Thanks, all the emails got grouped together into one conversation so I must have missed it.
 
Think they will have a second Second Look? No decision after 6 wks

I would suggest contacting Adrienne? I know during my interview it was stated it would take 3-4 weeks to get back to us and for myself it has been 4 weeks today. I'll be waiting until probably around April 15th before contacting them...I have exams to study for and don't want to be discouraged/distracted by a waitlist/rejection lol.
 
I interviewed 2/26 and I still have not heard anything either. Not sure if to email and ask for an update or just wait it out...
 
If you were told 3-4 weeks.. and it's been 4 I think it is appropriate to e-mail/call. Going on 7 weeks with no response. Make the call.

I interviewed the same date and have not heard anything either. Did you email or call the school?

I believe it is true. I looked at last years thread for USF and one of the medical students who was part of the admissions process assured everyone that they do not simply interview for the wait-list. That's why I was so excited to go to my interview here! Now it's just the waiting game... :scared:
 
Yes it is true, Mr. Perez told us during my interview this year that they do not interview for wait-list positions
 
It was also mentioned decisions would be out 2-3 weeks......

I presume it is taking longer for them to get back to the last group of interviewees because now they also have to give out financial aid awards to the candidates they have already accepted as well as prepare for the second look. Just hope we hear something soon though...everyday I become less and less hopeful.
 
They sent out intent to matriculate forms to accepted applicants recently. They could be waiting to see what kind of story those tell as far as how many more acceptances they should offer.

My online status says "Interview- Interview not yet scheduled." Does anyone know what that means? I tried calling and emailing for the past week but no one has responded.

For any one that went to the second look, can you describe what was shown/discussed as well as the number of people in attendance? Thanks, multiple opinons welcomed!
 
A rough guess would say around a hundred attended second look. Maybe a bit under. We toured the CAMLS facility, Tampa general hospital, and listened to a number of administrators, students, and student organizations speak.

Just signed up here! I interviewed 3/19 and haven't heard anything back yet. Has anyone here interviewed on that date received a decision or know anyone that has interviewed on that date that has received a decision? I'm losing my mind!!!!! Thank you 🙂
 
Hey Hippocrates88, I don't believe the admissions committee has gotten back to people since the feb. 12th date. I believe only one person from my interview date (march 5th) posted being waitlisted via snail mail. Honestly we can all guess what's going on but in the end it won't matter, we just have to wait it out. I'm hoping I hear tomorrow... but then again I've hoped that every sunday since I interviewed lol.

Hey guys,

I'm a 3rd year (soon to be 4th year!) med student at USF MCOM. Congrats to everyone who has been accepted to USF, and welcome to everyone who has decided to come here! This place is awesome!

Anyway, I am looking for a roommate for next year starting in July or Aug. I am renting a 1400 sq ft 2/2.5 townhouse and have a huge spare bedroom with your own private bathroom and walk-in closet. The common areas are completely furnished. I'm looking for someone who is quiet and clean and doesn't mind my 2 super sweet and loving kitties. I've decided to attend UCF. I'm from Orlando, it's very fairly priced and it seems like the perfect fit for me. 😀 Hope you get what you're striving for!!!

II was on Jan 28th. The date on the letter says Feb 7. I finally reached the dean on Feb 22. I don't think it actually got sent until Feb 28. Received it March 19 in the mail.

I'm think I'm an outlier on how long it took, but I have issues with getting mail quickly sometimes.
 
Did anyone else who was not yet accepted get the second-look email? I'm just wondering if I should get my hopes up or not. I interviewed SELECT March 25th as well... o_o

Did you interview in Tampa, or LHV?
 
I interviewed in Tampa. I got another email that said "dear accepted student" but haven't gotten a phone call....
