What was the title of your email? Because she said in the interview to label it something to do with the fact that you already interviewed so she would know. I labeled mine post-interview status.
I emailed her a week ago and she still has yet to say anything. They emailed me to see if I would potentially be interested in an interview, I said yes, and heard nothing else. I'm confused. What was the pt, if an interview wasn't going to be offered?

Im in the same boat as you. They actually asked me would I potentially be interested and I said yes. They said they noted it and then I heard nothing else. SIGHS
So, currently, it looks like around a 6-8 week wait until the out-of-committee notice comes. That winter weather sure had a huge impact here. As February interviewees receive your notices (and acceptances), could you post? I know that'd definitely help me out (read: keep me sane), as well as anyone else who has interviewed in March/April!

wahhhh I want to be apart of the accepted Jan-28th group. Ms. Walk said my interviewer wasn't able to be at the last meeting and they didn't meet this past thursday. She has also been out of the office on vacation.
Did anyone interview on March 26? Have you guys heard back?

Congratulations on the interview invite! The day is pretty relaxed and everyone is really nice and helpful so don't freak out. Make sure you eat a good breakfast because it's a long day! Know your application inside and out, know why you want to go to Howard, and just be yourself. Good luck!

It is one student at a time with one interviewer. The interviews usually last anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes. Very relaxed they usually just talk about things that kind of pop on your application.
The interview process at Howard is really relaxed but still an interview. It is one on one but the interviewees are given time to interact with each other and get to know one another a bit.
Know why you want to go to Howard!!! Really important. Howard is extremely serious about their mission statement and want students that embody that.
Know your app! That's standard for any interview at any school.
Overall, be yourself. I got the impression that they are very good at weeding out the "crap" that people tend to spew when they try to overly impress. Be yourself and try to remain relaxed. Simultaneously, know that you are being interviewed from the time you walk in to the time you leave by everyone you come into contact with.
Take it all in. Howard has a very rich history that's not only impressive but humbling at the same time. It's very family-oriented which helps with making you feel welcome.
